It makes me sad how…pathetic Horizon has become.

Locking 80% of the content behind paywall and “Forzathon”. It’s laughable.

7 million points for the ZR2 and it has to be done in one session. That’s just pathetic. I won’t even waste my time with this crap.

Not everybody wants to spend 8 hours on a game that is almost just as boring and barren as Star Wars Battlefront II.

Whatever happened to getting the full package? I didn’t even buy the game and I’m still disappointed.

C’mon, Playground. You’re better than this.

What 80% of content is locked? I suspect it’s close to 8%.

Forzathon is not a paywall, its playing the game. If the challenge worked as expected ie it saving progress 7m is fine as a weekly challenge.

As it is I had it within a reasonable time drifting at the aerodrome.

Well, clearly it’s an issue T10/PG isn’t looking at and have yet to acknowledge. They’re just as awful as DICE really.

Paywall? I mean, do some challenges or join in the forzathon multiplayers and is fun?

The 7m I do have issue with because a bug is making it a one session, not a weekly challenge.

I made the 7mil in a short time. on the right spot at the map with only small trees and a car with some boosts, did drift and destroy, getting ~250.000*6 (=~1.500.000) points easy a couple of times.
And also got ~70 points to spend on the cars for boosts on my cars and got wheelspins and money which hiding in some cars. So this challenge realy payed out. :wink:

I’m new to Forza and 4 laps of the Goliath puts me around 1,6 M Points

So we talking about 15-20 laps. And that should complete the challenge.

It can be done with less, but hey… I’m new.

Are we even playing the same game? What paywall are you talking about? There are no microtransactions in this game and hardly any DLC out thus far, so no clue what that means.

Also, if you don’t want to spend your time on Forzathon, you don’t have to. Nothing is locked behind it except for a few cars at the moment, and even then, those cars can probably be found on the auction house.

It’s obvious that the game is not perfect and personally I think that FH3 had a better atmosphere but your complaints are terrible. You can ask for a button that will end any race or the whole game at any time.

I am missing something what 7 million points? Can somebody explain this for me?
I am playing this game almost every day and I did seen 7 million skill points in forzathon but this is really easy to do.

The winter final winter weekly Forzathon challenge for 100FP requires you to get 7m skill points in an offroad car. It doesn’t save your progress as days/sessions go on, so each time to start playing again, it resets the counter. You you can’t do races, Horizon Live or Team Adventures in between otherwise it resets the counter also.

I personally find it boring gathering 7m points in one sitting, so I haven’t done it and probably won’t. I’m using a Ford Raptor with some skills unlocked and skill songs. Most I got up to was 1m before realizing it doesn’t keep your progress between gaming sessions/races.

What are you talking about? All 3 account I did the 7 million skills for, I did some races, changed vehicles, did live events and one axcount even lost the live session connection then later reconnected at which point I did another live session and completed the 7 million skills point challenge during the live event.

I tend to do the dailys, so far have done every weekly, I’ll do a few live events in there as well. I use the points for the cars only, I don’t care about the goody clothing and horns. This was the first week I didn’t already have anything in the forzathon shop from wheelspins or what not. I’ve got what I want and still have ~600 points left over.

Obviously I did, I quoted and pointed out I’d done all the things you claim you cannot do whilst trying to accumulate 7 million points.

Clearly not, because you will have seen that it doesn’t accumulate for me and there are plenty of other replies to support this.

I don’t have the desire to sit and drift around randomly for an hour(s) just to complete this when it’s poor game design/coding that is the issue and needs addressing.

And since you read it put a little thought into it. The counter is bugged for some people, for others not. I did the challenge over numerous days and it didn’t reset once but since it’s bugged it could be different for everyone. And if they tell you their counter reset after switching sessions, doing races/events or shutting the game down just believe them. Bugged systems won’t act predictable.

There were days I just drove around and accumulated skill points and then logged off and the counter still reset. Just because it works for you, doesn’t mean it works for everyone. I’ve tried multiple ways to accumulate 7 million, in the end the ONLY way for it to work for me was to do it all in one session.

No.

I specifically mentioned ALL the things I did do during my session.

If you’ve kept up on the many threads on this topic, I even say that Ive done all 3 accounts in ONE session.

Great, it worked for you, but there’s plenty of people that still have resets between events and resets between sessions.

Close the door slowly on your way out.
