Slip Street Drift Club

I would like to invite all drifters to join this new club.
The club is for drifting street driven cars, but in a very gangsta fashion.
Right now I bet you’re thinking what does he mean “gangsta fashion”, well, let me tell you…

It all starts with having the mentality that drifting is all about making it look gangsta.
You have to drive your car like you really don’t give a…oops can’t say that now can I…But you know what I mean.

Here are some of the things you can do to make your drifting look gangsta:

  • Near miss a wall or solid object
  • Ride a wall
  • Drop a wheel or two in the dirt
  • Shake dat booty (transfer the weight of your car in an aggressive manner)
  • Take outside lines
  • Full countersteer
  • Stay close to other drifters (top tip - when following another drifter it’s usually a good idea to let off the gas slightly when transitioning to allow the car in front space to swing in the other direction without slapping your car in the face with his/her rear end)
  • Big angle entries
  • 3 wheel motion (you might need to soften your suspension & roll bars to accomplish this…However some tracks have certain sweet spots where you can lift a wheel).

Anywho, lets talk about the cars…Here are the regulations for what a slip street car needs to comply with:

  • Maximum HP: 550
  • maximum P-I: A600
  • Must have a working car stereo (only street weight reduction is accepted)
  • Race & Drag tyres are not permitted
  • Forza wings are not permitted
  • Positive camber is not permitted
  • Must have a working clutch (sorry non-clutch users, y’all gonna have to learn)
  • Must have a license plate on the rear of the car*
  • Purchase price of the vehicle must be under 100,000cr

*If you do not own any license plates for your car, I have a california plate & a maryland plate with correct font which I can gift. I will possibly make more plates too so if you want a plate just make the request. All plates are welcome as long as they’re real world plates, can be US, Japanese, German whatever.

Everybody starts with 1 vehicle, the 1st vehicle may be fully customised following the slip street regulations. To earn additional vehicles one must either A: Win 3 head to head duels, B: Place top 3 five times in any showcase events, C: Place top 3 in a tournament or D: place top 3 in the league.
The vehicles you acquire are then treated as works in progress, you must upgrade them in stages. 2 upgrades are allocated per event participated in. (If all goes well there will be a separate thread to keep a log of this).

Due to the club only just starting regulations are subject to change. I am open to any ideas & constructive criticism as this is the 1st club I’ve started.

The club will feature a drift league, I just need to figure out how the judging will work as I want to do something a lil’ different and uhh…less conventional.

Showcase Events:

Limbo drifting
Wall Riding
Dirt drops (similar to wall riding)
Traffic drifting
King of the hill
Lemme see

(All events will be updated with explanations, rules & judging criteria soon).

If anyone is interested in being a senior member of the club & helping keep the club running & getting ish done hmu, always easier having more than 1 person run it.

The club will also feature a ranking system based on your drifting skill (kind of like martial arts lol). Each rank will have a unique sticker.

I’ll put pen to paper with the ranking system & drift league once there is enough interest & after a few club sessions.

All drifters wishing to join this movement post away with your:
