Veterans of the forums will have memories of previous threads with this title, many good and maybe some bad. The last one ended in poor circumstances. I personally have been away from the forums and game for a long time, but having just grabbed a console and the game I popped back to the forums to see what had been created in my absence. To my dismay, I discovered this thread was never revived and there was no central collection of all the great work created over a games lifetime.
Originally the idea of the thread was to showcase other peoples work. Show what you have bought, spread some love and raise awareness of what is out there for people to get. It evolved to show off anythng, but with a preference for showing other peoples work rather than just advertising your own stuff only (Post 2 things by others if you post one of your own kind of thing).
Im not going to get into the bad. Water under many bridges!
Anyway, I miss the heck out of those threads. They were fantastic ways to discover paint/artists/photographers/etc that you may not have been aware of. I discovered some phenomenal paints that I would probably never have found without those threads.
So, having checked with Heironymous aboout the idea, permission was given for the thread to be revived.
Why are you still reading? Go! Find work, post pictures, spread some love of other peoples work!
Always try to tag any images of paints with the creators name so that other people can find them.
Always loved these threads in the past. Glad to see it make a comeback and looking forward to seeing people’s paints and photos. Will post some myself when I get a chance
I am very limited in what I can do because the paint booth keeps crashing, but here is one car I’ve done. I’m really happy with these screen shots however, I can’t get over how good this game looks (if you don’t look at the crowd).
You need to be posting the URL for the image not the page.
Looking at the code https://i.imgur.com/CyFFsSn.png its the " i." thats the image url. Right click on the photo and view image will give you the image url.
Ps: not sure if that logo will see you in trouble for ToS.
Quick question: Is there a way to follow ABGraphics in game to see all the paints you guys do or do I have to follow each artist/player? (Sorry, not trying to derail.)
If I understand your question correctly, ABGraphics is an individual … not a group of painters. So, yes, you can follow him in game and when you’re in a car he’s painted, his paint will show up first when searching for designs for that car.
for once i’ll be adding here. I do enjoy making designs but I am not the type of putting more than a few hours in to something, at a certain point i just get bored too much. Still i do never download vinyl groups or whatever.
Anyway, a friend and me decided to do the clio, even though it shoul’ve been painted on a fiat or abarth, but still this one turned out to be really good for my standards.
