Should I buy Fortune Island or Car pass?

With Xbox live Gold having the car pass price halfed, I was wondering if I should get the Fortune Island expansion or the car pass.

The car pass has a great amount of cars and variety and with me being a JDM Fan it has great JDM cars within the car pass itself (hence my gamertag).

With Fortune Island comes a great drift road and a new storyline. The cars are great and because the default Britain map not having that much drift roads, I’m starting to get bored with the game.

I have been a drifter ever since Forza Horizon 2 when I used to join live streams on twitch and drift around the city of Nice.

Not sure what to pick because the car pass has great cars and If i choose fortune island the sevond expansion could be a whole lot better so I’m making this forum to decide for me.

There’s already loads of cars in the game, but there isn’t fortune island, so i’d go for fortune island.
Plus there are plenty of drift options, drift suspension etc in the game and drift cars already.

I have car pass and fortune island and fortune island is better.

I’d say this has been perhaps the best Car Pass yet, but I’d still have to agree with the quoted statement.

Given the direction that T10 and PG is taking FH4, I wouldn’t recommend buying the game in the first place, much less any add ons.

Sad, really, i wouldn’t have said that even 4 months ago. Forza use to be my favorite franchise. Not so much any more.

Fortune Island was on sale recently and probably will be again within a month or two. I finished it very quickly and the drifting was mediocre in my opinion. I wish I’d waited for a bigger sale.

I briefly considered the car pass but again, even at 50% off there isn’t enough to get excited about. There are only a handful of cars I have any interest in and it would work out cheaper to buy them individually.

So each to their own, only you can decide if it’s worth it for you.

Fortune Island also has a new Horizon Story called Drift Club 2.0 so you’d probably enjoy that too.

The only thing I enjoyed about the drift clubs was when they were over, so I didn’t have to listen to that Welsh bloke any more.

To be perfectly honest with you I would suggest the car pass over Fortune Island any day of the week. Unfortunately I bought the Fortune Island pack myself. Not that it’s bad or anything you just don’t really get any of the cool cars that you always see in the AH
