My understanding is that T10 built the game engine, but had little to no involvement with building the games.
If my memory serves me correctly, PGG started out as a company that converted game engines into open world formats. They were hired by Microsoft and T10 to make the Forza Horizon series.

Forza is really saving the environment with this much recyclingā¦

ForzaTech has been developed by T10 which is the foundation of Horizon as well.
Itās the backbone of the success because it enables the physics no other arcade racer can hold a candle to.
Of course itās credited in every title.
Sourcing of cars is another thing where T10 is involved.

As well as licensing. Which is more than likely a division of the Microsoft legal team. Which means the game licensing division of these games for Microsoft Game Studios has a lot of legal power. My guess is that PGG gets cars when T10 says they can have them.

Well the woody wagons are actually pretty good admittedly, used to have a lot of fun with them, but the reason why I am annoyed is because they are just recycled cars

This is what I think this was
PG is working on FH6 and is less working on FH5 T10 is working on Motorsport and have no time to admit the cars that PG and people ask to see in FH5. But I think the cars we are voting for are maybe admitted cars by T10 but it still have to add them and deal with cars manufacturers
Thatās what we thought during FH4 and FM6.
Lol. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I was very familiar with Dumbnut Media prior to the update, but I refuse to call myself a āfanā of those nitwits.
Rocket Bunny is the only good part of this update.
I donāt care about any of the cars in the Festival Painlist this month.
This update is garbage.

Maaaaan I just want a sw20 mr2 and Iām happy (90s generation of the mr2 for those who donāt know). It was one of the best underrated cars and thatās all I need. Also why so much recycling

Itās unpaid content - new cars would be nice, but re-added cars should be fine except for the limited time availability.
Iām kinda the other way Iām more into the story then the cars but I will still likley put in a bit of time and work at getting the seasonal cars
Their older content is better imo. The Donut Musical on the history of car audio is probably one of my favorites. They used to highlight interesting cars and tell interesting automotive history stories in a creative and fun way. Hi-Low and Money Pit were good, but now it seems like itās mostly just junk content for kids, Iām still subscribed, but I skip most it.

I miss that car from FH4. My build for it was a bit cursed but I had a lot of fun with that car.
Of all the cars released in any of the series so far, the only cars that I will find much use for are from the current series: 46 Ford, 54 and 53 Morris. Most of the rest I have never had any reason or desire to use.
I think it would have been better if the Donut Media story actually helped people understand the more complex tuning options rather than just how to click on icons. I think we can all click tires and transmissions⦠I would rather have them explain selecting gear ratios to match the engine performance curves, etcā¦

People canāt find their dipstick irl. I agree that would be logical to include some physics , but the narrative would lose people.
Then the forum gets mad, argues teachings. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The Donut Media tuning tutorial would have been a good little addition on day 1 when the game was first released as a very very basic introduction to tuning. Not quite sure why it has been added now. Also not sure why we were forced to do it when starting the game. I canāt think of any game Iāve ever played that does this.

It could have been good to pick and tune your first car with good tips, choosing what type of discipline and unlock some branded clothes. As an expansion it does feel like āā¦really? Now?!ā We donāt even keep the car. (They are better starter cars than at the beginning of the game in my opinion)
The idea has nice potential.
