Hi people. Being very new to the whole paint job malarkey I’d like some tips on how best to create that rust look. Any help at all is appreciated.

I started doing rusty paint jobs in Horizon2 and was asked how i made them. Find i hard to explain how i do it but i did a basic guide and highlighted the decals i use to create rust etc, heres the link - hope it makes sense!

Just one question tho, how do you go to the matt finish this n paints? I can’t seem to find it

go to the paint whole car, 1st tab is regular color palette, 2nd is manufacturer’s colors, 3rd is custom finishes(?)
First red color shown is semi gloss I think, and 2nd is matte. You can use the x button after selecting the red, to change the color/saturation/hue(?) to whatever you desire as the base coat, and afterwards all work applied over it should be matte finish as well. ( I’m totally guessing on all this as I’m not at home…)
