It has been 2 years since this game has come out and Turn 10 could easily implement this
It would grant greater accessibility, bring people over from Sony as it would get coverage from the content creators, since you could race from the perspective most of them prefer to play in
There is greater control and perspective from the roof as it is the natural place you turn from (behind the front wheels in the driver’s seat), but with greater peripheral vision
This view has been in the majority of past racing games, why is Turn 10 against building on the past and giving more people a reason to try their game with very little effort n their part
No new assets, no car mods that affect the roofs that they would have to QA around, and people would love them for it and get free advertising for it,
a roof camera is an easy win for Turn 10 that helps the community and grows more !!
DoesTurn 10 do like a fan stream or do they have any interaction with the community where we could try to get eyes on such a basic feature for an update ?
this forum is the closest we’ll get . I wish they did that stuff , devs in general should definitely be engaged with their community .
(Kinda off subject) The only car game I know that does that is torque drift 2 they go live every month on twitch and bring fans on the stream to answer questions while still answering the chat too

It is such a basic option and before the end of this life game, they need to make the single player progression offline and they need such a basic camera option that has been in the majority of past racing games,
the future is about progress, not whatever the games industry has been doing the last decade
they also need to know to take the singleplayer offline, so everything isn’t stolen away from us when they stop paying for the servers
I wonder if there is an officially listed outreach team that is just buried in a contact us on microsoft or turn 10 website ?
even if there was just a vocal developer in Turn 10 who has an active twitter, literally anything, just for us to get some basic answers to questions like these, so we can at least know if there is any hope at all
