How is that on this spec event, that forces you into a stock challenger, that there are lb times with “tunes” that show a 627 pi index when stock is only 616? If there’s a reasonable explanation I’ll accept it but in my opinion stock means stock. Period. So please look into this. Also it is hard to figure because it forces you in a rental as well which will not allow you tuning even the tire pressure. I am not the fastest but this stinks. Hope to get some light she’d on this just wanna see it fair for all.

I just checked my time on this challenge and it was set with a PI of 627 like you say, I didn’t do anything other than use the rental car. Yet now when I go into the event and pause the game it says the rental car has a PI of 616. Having a quick look at the leaderboards it appears as if the PI has been changed in an update sometime around April, all the 616 times on the leaderboard appear to have been set after 04/2016 and all the 627 times before 04/2016. Possibly when the Top gear car pack was released (5th April) with the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat being added to the game which has PI of 628, maybe they lowered the PI of the Challenger SRT to balance it against the new car.
That’s a good viability it’s just odd they wouldn’t update the LB but it irks me.
It depends what they have done, if all they have done is tweak the PI number it shouldn’t make any difference unless they have actually changed something with the car it self the performance should be the same.
How would you go about checking that?
I suppose unless you’ve previously tuned the Challenger prior to the update, you’d know what was “Stock” at that time when compared to what it is now… Yes, no ?

The whole “Rental Car” thing just seems counter intuitive really. If you have the car, please allow us to use them, even if it means having to convert them the the “Stock” PI etc is fine. But allowing us to tune it should be there.
Not upgrade it, just tune it.
If the pre-race options show ‘Tune’, which it does, then you should be able to tune it, whether it be yours or a Rental.
So please allow us to at least tune the cars, please…

When This Challenge was first run I did it with a stock no tune challenger paid no attention to pi. But I wanted to run it again happened to pause and noticed the pi difference. . Idk I just doesn’t add up. If they updated pi they need to update lbs ya know?
And suspension alone can make a world now difference.
I did win an aston. So that says a lot. Like I said I just noticed this today. We’ll last 24 hrs.
