Request tune? A800 awd R34?

can anyone make me a tune that i can play around with? looking for a circuit tune, not too good t making full tunes but can make some fine adjustments, anyone wiling to help me out??

Anything in particular you want in the tune? And circuit tune in which locale - or just general all around.

If I get on tonight, I’ll try something out, if not I’ll have one up within a couple of days.

i need some good oversteer, cant get it to corner properly right now without using the ebrake, and mainly good accel, with decent top speed, thats about it, mainly a grip tune for a general ll around circuit, thnk you :slight_smile:

I have a car in progress. I built it up and gave it a run around Nice shoreline Sprint since I’ve been running that track a lot today and it ran a low 2.38 out of the box with a little room for more. I don’t like the tune too much however and still want to work on it before I publish it. I’ll keep you posted.

EDIT: It’s going much better now. I’m not a gearing pro, so that may need some work. Once I finalize, I will share the tune and PM you the specific settings.
EDIT 2: I’d like to spend more and more time tweaking this thing, especially the gears ad a little bit of corner ability, but I can’t spend the time right now and so I won’t.

I am not in front of my console but try this:

Add adjustable aero front and rear
Increase rear tyre width by 2 widths
Race differential
I am not sure how good the stock gearbox is but we will come back to that.
In platform and handling use race brakes (if you want to but try without), race springs and anti roll bars.
Do weight reduction as far as you can keeping it in A class. If you get to around a pi of 780 then take it to the raod and test how the gears feel.

Does it launch ok? How many gears can you get through before it bogs down? Try and judge if it needs an upgraded gearbox.

Either upgrade the gearbox or upgrade power to get to A800.

With engine upgrades my priority order is:

Exhaust
Air Filter
Pistons
Valves
Displacement
Ignition/Intake
Avoid using the cams or any weight adding items.

For the tune start with:

Tyres 29.0/28.5 PSI. If you are going to be doing hotlapping on circuits where you do multiple laps maybe take another 0.5psi off these.
Camber -2.5/-2/0
Toe 0
Caster 5.0
ARB 13/23
Springs reduce both by 10%
Height - the flatter the track the lower you can go
Rebound 9.5/9
Bump 2.0/2.5
Brakes 50-52% balance / pressure up to you
Aero 100/75
Diff 40/0/80/5/70

If any of this is unclear I can actually do a tune in around 6 hours. The above is just my process to get to a start point.

GSW KnuckleHead also has a A800 that is total grip. But you don’t be able to play around with it because of it behind download only but feel free to give it a try.

I will try PPiDrive’s tune also since I have like a few R34’s already to go with da paints :wink: I need more tunes for them lol.
