Hey, guys. Looking to dress up my S60 Polestar for online comp. Looking to keep it ultra-subtle though; my idea is to have the original ‘Prancing Moose’ shield that debuted on the front fenders of the XC90 PUV concept at SEMA '04 placed similarly.
No special colors or accents necessary for the rest of the car; the stock blue paint and stock wheels w/no color alterations will suffice. I’m looking for a clean, stock look apart from the shields.
I saw one little tiny straight-on picture of it that someone posted in a forum- too small to work with. Like you, I couldn’t find any straight-on pics to work with.
Indeed. The Dave Barton versions - which were inspired by the XC90 PUV concept’s - are plentifully referenced. Next to nil for the original. . .probably for the sake of not inciting Ferrari’s wrath. The best I could do was this following, but it’s probably too small. . .
If that won’t work and I can’t find a bigger straight-on or at least an outline of the moose, then could we use another moose outline within the shield? Nothing against Dave Barton’s, but I appreciate the original’s more subtle cues (i.e., the moose’s idleness could represent the unpretentiousness and self-assuredness some accuse Ferrari fans and owners of lacking, or the ‘black’ outline and fill actually being a dark blue that along with the yellow shield, symbolizes the Swedish flag).
hey mhp- using your image I was able to find a good sized .cdr image to work with- I’ll be able to do it.

that’s the only Volvo I have so I took a picture of it there. I just shared the logo ( as ‘volvowiw’) so you can apply it to whichever vehicles however you like.
