[REPLICAS] RallyzX360: Marty Robbins 69 Daytona, Tanner Foust 2021 Pikes Peak Porsche

That’s a Ligier JS2, not a Ford GT70.

ah k ty for telling me the actual car…stupid google search. this car came up when i searched for the gt70… i thought it was a gt70 with different parts now i looked at the pic again i saw the actual name on where that pic was from… btw about the gt70 u did earlier will u adjust the decals to get the right sizes for it? or just leaving it as is?

I’m not sure which decals you think are significantly wrong in size, the Cibie sticker might be a little larger. It’s a little tricky to judge because the available pictures are looking along the sides of the car, the static one you sent me and another of the other side when it is actually competing when the 5 in the red circle is visible - I assume they added the class stickers after the other shot. I’ve also used a model sticker set to identify some of the decals, but there is always a little artistic licence required. I don’t think I’ll change it, it’s already getting downloads and I’m happy with it as it stands.

the decals im referring to are on the hood of the width of the rally de corse decal was similar to that of the license plate. and was a bit closer to it too… (i think the corners on it were more square then what u did though i could b wrong…) other then that i think rest is good. unless u using a different image for source of the hood then one i showed u in inbox…

All three of those Corollas are really sharp looking, the kitten needs his own car!

with escort MK2 rally car gonna be available next week u gonna move ur 1977 john taylor mk2 design u did for the stock car over to the proper one?

I think you’re getting just a bit picky there … !

Yes, I’ll probably put the John Taylor one on the new Mk2 with the arches.

fair enough. srry if i sounded picky. just trying to be helpful…

thx for adding the john taylor design to the new escort. gonna recreate the british airways one? i dont think any1 done it yet… or at least a good replica of it

Thanks SoulBuffalo, I noticed one person had downloaded it! However, you may have grabbed the wrong one. I realised after first sharing it that I had '75 on the SEDAN Championship sticker instead of '79. Just re-download to get the correct one as shown in the following post.

This is a replica of John Taylor’s Mk2 Ford Escort as used by him on the 1979 Lombard RAC Rally with Phil Short co-driving.

Further to a request by SoulBuffalo8, this is a replica of the Ford Escort WRC of Juha Kankkonen and Juha Repo in which they came 2nd on the 1998 Rallye Monte Carlo. There is a tune, also called “Monte Carlo 1998” (share code: 954 649 077) which gives the period correct rear wing, front end and wheels. I have also been careful to get the vinyls to work with the other aero kits.

If u have time I got one more design I like to see… it’s a d1gp series ae86. No one done it yet. I tried asking while back but no one did it. (Not sure it can be 100% accurate but I know u can get it close… quite a few photos of it (search for yukes ae86 (that may help)

I think I also asked u to do this but at that time u were taking a break from designing paint jobs…

Another suggestion from SoulBuffalo8. This is a replica of the Opera Performance Honda S2000, made famous by its appearance in Gran Turismo 4, PSP, 5 and 6.

I have tried to match the original real life car as much as possible, and have made a suitable tune, also called “Opera”, share code 734 472 267. Note that if you make your own tune, in order to work properly the aero mods listed below should be fitted as some of the other ones available, incl. the Rocket Bunny kit, are too different.

Wing: Honda
Bonnet: Mugen Power (gives the vents)
Side skirts: Top Secret (although standard will also work) - this from pics of the car in a tunnel that show the sides.
Wheels: Enkai RPF1 (as in the overhead shot of the car) - obviously these don’t affect the livery …

Yes, I did try to match the source picture, including the steering angle

Car: 2003 Honda S2000 - File Name: Opera - Share code: 165 109 352 (updated due to glitch on roof of previous one - sorry!)
