Red-Line Track Days
Today’s Grouping (Group B)
Group B Restrictions:
Stock vehicle.
No modifications allowed
Must be equipped with roll cage
Factory provided tires
Vehicle must remain at factory weight
2,500 lbs. Or over
300 or less horsepower
7:00 pm central
Roll on practice session will begin.
Full access to pits
Each team allowed a pit box to store tires and fuel and crew workspace
Rules for practice session are as follows. Failure to comply with these rules will result in expulsion.
- Passing will not be tolerated in corners
- Passing only allowed on first main straight and straight after final corner.
- Passing must be done on left hand side of track.
- If you are pressed by a car in the corner but are quicker in the straights. It is proper form to slow down in the straights so they may pass. Once the gain distance in the corners you will have clear track again.
- Should you go off track. Do not re-enter until it is completely clear or someone allows you to do so.
- You must maintain at least 1 car distance between you and the driver in front. Tailgating during practice is unnecessary and grounds for expulsion.
- Practice laps are to get a feel of the track. Don’t be an idiot and don’t be stupidly pushing yourself and car. Save it for the race.
7:30 pm
2 lap qualifying
- Fastest time to slowest determines positioning.
- Passing in all areas allowed.
- All previous rules still in tact.
7:45 pm
Race time.
Pole position will lead pack around last corner in formation. Once poll position crosses start line and takes off, all cars may do so.
Passing everywhere allowed.
Only rule is contact.
Light contact is acceptable if accidental.
2 violation warning. 3rd offense you will be asked to pit and leave the track. No exceptions.
No lap time points.
Finish position points awarded.
15 laps.
Watch your tires and fuel.
May the best driver win.
Track day points will be totalled up to determine the winner of May. Winner will also get a t-shirt with a picture of your choice of your car and a declaration of your accomplishments on the front with may’s race schedule and your finish spots on the back.
Winner of this month’s track days decides next month’s grouping and track series.
