Why am I not getting this achievement? To get it the description says you need to go faster than 250mph in any car. I just played two races and I hit 270mph in one and 269mph in the other. But I did not get this achievement. I was going faster than 250mph for a while on a long straight away. What do I need to do to get this achievement?

Mine unlocked after finishing the race. So you can do it in any mode except test drive, if you select quit or restart from the pause menu it will not unlock. You either have to finish the race/event or in the case of rivals complete the lap that you performed the speed on then select finish race.

Yes. i did that in both races. I finished the race, never quit and never restarted. But the Achievement just shows 93%. Which it was showing before those two races.

Pretty sure you are just having the issue everyone is having…I am also not able to unlock achievements. Been playing since 6pm Eastern standard time. I own the ford gt, I have done over 250 miles per hour, I have tried to achieve “one down”. " up to the challenge ", " I dare you "… And I have equipped a silver and bronze level badge… All still not a single achievement achieved, very frustrating

Now I just tried it for a third time and still nothing. I beat the rival and got no Achievement even though I hit 269mph in the race. And I got nothing in free play either.

EDIT: Well I guess it’s not too bad for me then. I have received my other Achievements. This is the first Achievement I have not received.

The Record Breaker Achievement does work!!

I used a Bugatti Veyron (rented) on Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe - Old Mulsanne Circuit (Day) and got the achievement. Make sure you TURN OFF REWIND in the assists tab.

I just found this info out today on another site. Even if I didn’t rewind it wouldn’t give me the achievement. But as soon as I disabled rewind, and did a race over 250mph, I got the achievement

I’m still not getting it. On the hub it shows that this achivement it’s 100% but it’s still locked. I tried several times in every way suggested always with rewind off but it’s not working.
