Rear Wheel Drive American Muscle, and engine sounds

I just want to drive a Rear Wheel Drive American muscle car, without having to convert it to All Wheel Drive!
Ok YES IT is a game, but come on! In the real world how common is a RWD to AWD conversion?
The RWD classic cars, are horrible and almost undriveable unless you are an really good tuner, or you load someone else’s tune.
Perhaps, because I use a keyboard to play, rather then a pedal and wheel set? So everytime I accelerate, i am basically flooring it, causing wheel spin, and oversteer. But I doubt the majority of players have the wheel setups. On the contrary I imagine most PC players play with the keyboard.

Also, The engine sounds are horrible compared to FH3. You can barely hear the rumble of a Hemi, and the Viper sounds like a croaking duck! Not to mention, the in game radio stations that have only 3 or 4 songs. But because you dont want to miss the skillz songs, you turn the volume off and just rely on the on screen message, yet the radio volume DOESN’T GO OFF!
I really do not understand why we can not have customizable user radio stations…It still works on FH3. Why can it not be implemented on FH4? It can be so simple as just coping your mp3 files into a user folder…Hell, The radio DJ can STILL come on and talk between user songs…The GTA games have been doing it like that since San Andreas…

Also, When I come across a really good blueprint race, I want to be able to save that race in a menu location where I can easily find it again. Currently, I can only ‘Like’ or Dislike’ the blueprint after finishing it. By that time, I cant remember that the name of it was, or at what event it is triggered from. Why cant we have an option after completing a blueprint races to ‘Save To favorites’??
Hell it doesn’t even tell you the name of the race, or creator at the end…And so we have to go searching through endless, EASY MAX XP/CR Glitch type blueprints to find the one race that is actually good.
And finely, YES YES YES YES This post is in the wrong thread. It should go to ‘features wishlist thread’, but NOTHING EVER gets done from that thread…NOTHING!
So maybe we should file this one in a NEW thread called RANTS!
Now I know most of the people reading this will just say, “If you don’t like it, don’t play it!” Well, I LOVE THE GAME, and its predecessor, hence why I am so passionate about gettings these things fixed up! Not to mention I payed $150 or so canadian for the game!
Of course there is so much more I could add that bugs me, but you get the point
----END OF RANT—
NOTE: Please dont ban me for my rant, but I will most definitely head moderators admonitions, in the future.

Xbox controllers work on PC, that’s what I use, keyboard is a last resort to knock out a quick daily challenge on my laptop without breaking out the controller. But yes, RWD cars slide and spin tires a bit too easily with default tunes

Many muscle cars seem just fine to me RWD as long as you keep them to a reasonable A class. I’m not a fan of RWD, but classic muscle cars are a type of car I most often don’t convert. Sometimes I even leave the suspension stock if I find the car has an amusing bit of body roll.

I unfortunately don’t have time to find it right now, but a week or so ago we actually had a really good chat about tuning RWD muscle cars to be fun and competitive without removing some of the charm.

The single most disappointing thing i have found in the game so far, was when i bought a Shelby AC Cobra.
Years ago i was lucky enough to get a ride as a passenger in an AC Cobra, and that engine, with those sidepipes, right next to you, sounded like a mix between Thunder and explosions on steroids, turned up to 11, in the game, it sounds like an '82 Toyota Corolla with a mufler issue.

After that is the 8.4L V10, in the game, fully tuned, it makes a sound thats… well if i had a car with an engine that sounded like that, i would call a mechanic PRONTO.

they all sound better in the tunnels

Being on a keyboard will always be an issue, but if you rapidly tap the gas, it can help you manage your acceleration. It’s not a perfect solution, but it can work.

Same goes for braking.

Hearing the odd fire Viper V10 at the track is as irritating as in the game. Never liked the sound of it. Don’t really mess with it in game unless I have to.

Tuning the classic musclecars to be fast, fun and manageable in RWD is not that difficult. The time spent learning is better than the time spent looking for one that you like.

Stock look including rims, no conversions except supercharger on a small block maybe, race everything else except visible roll cage and then tune it. They usually wind up around 820-830 PI and are a blast to drive. The sounds aren’t that bad. The good audio of Forza past is gone though. Sadly.
