I remember you saying on one of your Tuesday Twitch/Beam broadcasts that the LBGP was a race you wanted to go to. Glad you made it. It was a fantastic event this year.
My wife and I were very happy that Hinch got the win with Bourdais in second. Dixon was the class of the field but choosing to pit early thinking a yellow fly for Marco cost them the win when it stayed green. Happy to see Andretti’s cars running towards the sharp end of the grid. Hope they figure out what the issues are with their engines and/or electronics.
It’s not a question of if Newgarden will win this season, it’s when and how many.
Fun factoid. In 43 years it has never rained on race day Sunday at the Long Beach Grand Prix.
