I think thats a severe case of over moderating - thats my opinion, not an idea or thought etc, so i should be ok to post this in a new thread.
Why are interesting discussions always locked for no apparent reason when the community is active on the topic? The topic was about public roads that also double as race tracks being included in H3 (such as bathurst)
Never seen a forum that locks active topics for no reason, most forums do their best to keep threads alive and increase interest on the forum…If we are not supposed to share ideas, thoughts or feelings whats left? bickering ?
I kindof agree with you, although people that have been on the forums for a long time are annoyed by constant posts of the same stuff. Usually, the moderators just move it to he thread it belongs in.
Majority of the time, locked threads are for people trying to ask questions about a ban or are frustrated about getting banned.
I don’t think your approach to this was nice, you could have done it much more polite and “intruiged” instead of “interrogative”
More than likely they were also threads started that turned into a wishlist thread which also get locked
There is already 1 main wishlist thread pinned at the top…any new ones get locked and told to post there…that includes ideas and thoughts of what should be added to the game
Compared with a good number of forums of which I am a participating member, I find that the members Forzamotorsport.net are given a wide latitude and am often surprised when more threads aren’t locked.
I would love some feature ideas be open for discussion on the forums and sometimes they are. But what often happens is people dont like opposing views and threads derail as a result or we end up with another wishlist.
No this thread probably wont last because one of the forum rules is dont discuss moderation decisions on the forum.

We don’t. Case in point, you misrepresented that thread, which was locked with a definitive quote from the game’s developers: “no plans to have any real world circuits in horizon, if you want tracks, we have Forza Motorsport.” Not only did that put the lid on the “discussion,” topics that simply generate an agree or no interest response are not discussion, they’re wishlists. We have one thread for each type of wishlist because to allow separate threads would push legitimate discussion topics off the front board where users are likely to see and engage in them.
