Raceboy's Forza Horizon 3 Tunes (New DLC tunes up now! June 6th)

Just a thought, is it possible to gift tunes to another account? To get past the tune limit, couldn’t you create a secondary account like Raceboy78 and have extra tunes hosted on that account for future DLC etc?

Just wanted to ask a question, how do I know which cars are suitable for tarmac/off road, and which parts are used (race/rally suspension, tires, rwd/awd etc)?

As I understand (from a failrace video), rally tires and suspension and awd are quicker off road, but only slightly slower on tarmac.

Anyway, I’m sure your tunes are of the usual high quality and thank you for your efforts.

@RaceBoy77 any way you could make tunes for a few Horizon Edition cars? The Jaguar, Huracan, Ford GT, and BRZ?

Again just want to say thank you for your tunes had a question about the alfa 33 stradale is it overpowered like it is in 6 and horizon 2 or more tame this time as was planning on saving for one but don’t want to feel like a jerk in using it

thank you

As stated before, I can only upload 299 tunes which means I have to focus on the more common cars. The Horizon Edition cars won’t fall into that category, sorry.

No problem! I feel like in Horizon it doesn’t really matter, drive whatever you’d like. I don’t think it’s as fast as it was though.

Evan, loved the RX7 Tune. But the tyres fell off when i added to my ride :frowning:

Hi Raceboy,

I tried your Subaru BRZ (A Class) and it handled pretty well. The top speed felt quite low however, I was hitting the rev limiter at about 220kmh.

If that tune has an adjustable gearbox, can you up the top speed a little? Car’s great otherwise.

Also, do you have any build tips for making an Off-road car, and tips for building a Playground Games car? I’m fine with Asphalt as I can apply my Motorsport tuning experience but I’ve never built something for the other categories before.

The BRZ is meant to do that since you can stuff way more into it while keeping the trans stock. Upgrading the trans to adjust it isn’t worth it.

General tips are race offroad tires for accel and grip, they make a big difference. Other than that, solid amounts of power and soft suspension are all you really need. Oh, mandatory AWD also.

Ok this might be a dumb question but where do I go to buy/find user created tunes? Sorry for such a noob question =\

Read the first post on this thread, it walks you through on how to find them. You can also go to my storefront.

Man - how long did it take you to tune all those cars?

You don’t want to know :p.

Delta hf integrale evo wont come up in the game for tunes

Excellent effort.

Are there any routes you prefer to use when testing out the capabilities of your car? I know you used Silverstone a lot in Forza Motorsport 6 but obviously Horizon’s a different beast.

Right now I’m looking at Outback Gorge Cross Country for Off-Road as it’s quite a bumpy route.

Have you got any recommendations for a good Asphalt test route?

Thanks for letting me know, this should be fixed now.

I never really had a set spot or track I used, I kind of just drove the car until I was happy with it.

Evan, are you finding AWD is pretty much king in this game?!
I’ve driven lots of RWD as was always my preferred drivetrain but they seem to kick out so unpredictably vs AWD :frowning:

100% unfortunately. You can still be semi-competitive without it but if you want to be up near the top every time, AWD is needed.

Just wanted you too know I probably wouldn’t even play this game if it wasn’t for you and your tunes. I can easily drive almost every car in the game with your tunes and have loved everyone of them. Even got some top 10 rivals times with them! Thx bro, you should get paid for this effort.
