Race series (guaging interest)

Hi guys I’m wondering if anyone would be up for a race series here is what I’m thinking

3 tier series with three classes of cars

Class 1: GT1/GTS cars (R2 class)
Class 2:GT2 cars (R3 class)
Class 3:GT4 cars (S class)

Assists

I will allow any apart from auto brakes

Qualy and race rules

Qualifying: 15 minute session with clean laps above dirty laps. Simulation damage and collision mode will be on.

Race: 2 30 minute races with no pit stops required (may change)

Race 2: Reverse of race 1 with no mandatory pit stop but drag tyres will be used (may change if no on wants it)

1st 25
2nd 18
3rd 15
4th 12
5th 10
6th 8
7th 6
8th 4
9th 2
10th 1
+2 points for fastest lap (may be dirty or clean when I look at replays)

Cars
TBC
S class will run with full aero and with race and maybe drag tyres

DATES AND TIME TBC

What time zone? Days?

Not sure yet. If we get enough people I will ask what day and time is best and I will try do it around then :slight_smile:

Hi mate. Would really have loved to join, but I’m as bad with tuning a muscle car as Ferrari is currently tuning Alonso’s car. That said from a lifetime Ferrari fan should tell you pretty much. LOL. Maybe if you or IROC can tune one for me ?

Update: Tier 3 cars will be GT4 cars e.g Ferrari , corvette etc. but they will be S class and be non-race ready cars and will basically be downgraded versions of the GT cars

I might be able to depending on the day and time. I have cars for every class. So I could puck whatever class has the fewest in it.
