great to see you back Ace, and so many of your past great paints to pick up. Not sure what to go for first :D. As I say, it’s good to see you back mate, retro race paints are so overlooked in the game
A huge collection of extremely impressive work. You’ve always been one of my favourite Replica painters! Glad to see you painting on FM7!
Love the Gran Turismo stuff, so many memories!
Thank you for sharing your creations
Thanks my man! Always an honor to hear that from you.
Glad to be back my guy, I appreciate the warm welcome. Glad I was able to check the John Fitzpatrick car off your list. Also the Kreepy Krauly car is definitely on my list but if you get to it fist it’s less work for me :);
Glad that you appreciate the vintage stuff! I’ve got a lot from Forza 5 on through but I’m sure you’ll find your favorites. Thanks for the compliments and the welcome back.
Thanks Stuzi. I really appreciate your sentiment here. I gotta say that means a whole ton coming from a legend like yourself, you know the feeling is mutual. As for the GT stuff, nostalgia has gotten the better of both of us hahaah.
Thank you for taking the time to appreciate.
Alright guys, this next collection of cars are all Porsche’s raced by John Fitzpatrick Racing. John Fitzpatrick was a legendary Porsche driver in the 20th century with wins across the globe in models ranging from 911’s to 962’s. In this collection I have three John Fitzpatrick Racing Porsche’s from the 1980’s. A set of 962’s and a 935/78. Also it should be noted that I have updated the original post to include all of my paints that I have had the ability to take pictures of. I have imported ALL of my paints from previous Forza games and will be slowly taking pictures of them in FM7 and posting them here. Now on to the cars!!!
935/78 24 Hours of LeMans 1982
962 24 Hours of LeMans 1983 “Skoal Bandits”
962 24 Hours of LeMans 1983 “J David”
That’s all for now folks. As always. commentary and feedback are welcome and appreciated.
Thanks for reading!
Some great additions mate and very clean as always.
You have a nice collection of paintjobs ! I like the BMW M1 ProCar Carte De France
Hi man, i want say that your catalogue is really amazing, i’ve to write with my pen all liveries i’ve to download
Ciao
Glad to see Ace back! I think I always asked in prior Forza games if a tune was available to match the visual parts? haha Are you playing on the X? Do you notice any visual improvements in the logos? (sharpness/clarity)
Thank you! Always good to hear from you.
I appreciate the comment. The France Map M1 is one of my favorites!
I love putting out the paints, thank you punny, means a ton!
Not playing on the X unfortunately and some of my paints have PTG tunes to go along but I have been thinking of creating a list to show how to set the car up the same visually.
Alright, here is another addition to my Forza Motorsport race paint catalog. This one is the legendary Porsche 962 owned and raced by Al Holbert. The car often beat the factory 962’s during the era and famously dominated the IMSA “Camel” GT series in 1984 and '85. The car wears a Lowenbrau Special beer livery as it was raced when Al won the 1985 24 Hours Of Daytona.
That’s all for now but seeing as FM7 is the main Motorsport vehicle for the forseeable future you can bet there will be more to come!
Very nice Gallery Ace! Love the eye for detail.
Amazing gallery, and the attention to detail in some of these paints is astonishing. The composition of the photos is top drawer too, I’ll have to take a few lessons!
Good designs Ace! Haven’t been around this community for long (Only since around FM6) & I look forward to seeing more retro designs from you. Keep up the good work as always!
I never came here for a ride you have
