[Race & Fantasy] SpeedDemon's FM6 Designs and Replicas - 1969 Indy 500 Camaro pace car!

Thanks for the compliment, Rambo Shark!

What’s up everyone! I have a new design up, created for the ongoing 2015 Holiday Bash and available for downloading to all! I also plan on having at least 1-2 more designs up for this month.

I figured that I would give an update status on one of my projects - the 1971 Penske-Donohue AMC Javelin. At this moment, I have the overall design and majority of the decals done, with the exception of the “Sunoco” and “Javelin” decals that need to be finished, followed by the pinstriping on the rear panel. I would’ve posted pics of the progress on here, but due to me being out of town since Tuesday, visiting family, I never had time as I was working on the decals days prior to the trip and I kept on forgetting to do the pics; however, once i return in a few days, I’ll put up shots of the project as of now.

Some really nice cars in here. Nice work sir!

Always been a fan of the Penske Trans-Am Javelin, if it’ll be up to the high standard of your other releases it will be an absolute must-have for me!

@ jfiler - Thanks!
@ ClydeYellow - hope these shots are enough to convince you

Here are the shots of the Penske-Donohue Javelin that I’m currently working on at the moment. Before anyone says anything, keep in mind that this is the beta version of the design and things will be adjusted/changed to match the real thing.

I hope to have this completed before the FM6 Livery Contest 16 ends, if not the next one.

What’s going on y’all, i’m back with the first design of 2016 to share with everyone. With the release of the newest car pack, I decided that I wanted to go ahead and create a livery for one of the cars of the pack: The 1973 Holden HQ Monaro. I was hoping that I would have this finished earlier in the day, but creating the decals took longer than I hope for and I kept going back and forth to make sure it was up to my standards. Also, yes, I am still working on the Penske-Donohue Javelin, which should be finished by this weekend.
So here it is…

These designs are amazing, great job, the detail and skill and time needed to some of these paints are just amazing. Great Job

I really like the Rebel Challenger and the Torana, i made Peter Brock version of it but yours is much better

@mdgamer2000 - Thanks for the compliment, highly appreciated!

Hey y’all, I have a new design up for sharing and it’s for the 1969 #4 McLaren M8B! With the Can-Am Connection league now going on throughout the month, I figured why not make a design for one of the cars I use the most in that league. While my first idea was to recreate Dale Earnhardt’s iconic cup car look for it, but with layer mapping and placement conflicts I decided to just go with a simple custom GM Goodwrench look.

Still to come: Penske-Donohue Javelin (in progress), custom Prowler design, Buddy Baker’s Charger Daytona

Hey y’all, I’m back with a new design to share with everyone: The #6 Penske-Donohue Sunoco Javelin! This a design that I originally started back on FM5, but kept putting it on the back burner until now, I’ve countless hours looking for the best pictures as references, creating the decals, and matching the colors to the real thing, but now it finally pays off. So comment away, as I’ll be working on several more designs including: Subaru SVX PPG Pace Car, '69 Camaro Indy 500 pace car, and Pontiac Aztek Daytona 500 pace car.

note: I used the soft photo setting in photomode to take these, so they may appear brighter than in-game.

Gorgeous Jav. The color fade on the center stripe completes it

That Fast And Loud F40, GET YOU SOME OF THAT!, the thing is beautiful…

@SchnauzahPowah - Thanks, I appreciate your feedback!

@MOPARKING23 - Thanks!

This is just an update on my sharefront - First off, I’m very happy to report that my Penske-Donohue Javelin was selected as a winner for the FM6 Wk 25 Livery Contest, making it my first design on F6 to be considered a winner. Before anyone says I’m bragging, the truth is it made me excited that all of my hard work finally paid off and has inspired me to keep making more quality-based designs.
In addition: The '69 Indy 500 pace car coming along nicely, The PPG SVX should be done before the end of the month along with the Aztek Daytona 500 pace vehicle, and with the release of this month’s car pack, I’m working on the #90 Spirit of Daytona Corvette Daytona Prototype, which is proving to be a bit more difficult than I thought, more so with the layer mapping on both quarter panels of it, but it will be finished.

Hey y’all, first I want to say: no, i didn’t stop painting I just had a lot of stuff happen since I last posted here. And on top of that, rest assured that the main liveries I’m working on are nearing completion, they just need some fine tuning. With that out the way, let’s get into the main topic…

With the release of the NASCAR expansion (which was something I’ve hoping for since FM5), I decided to create a livery very similar to one I’ve done already (hint hint, Chevy SS) and put it on one of the cars included in this pack. Also since Austin Dillion’s car wasn’t part of it, I opted to use Dale Jr’s…

  • Dale Earnhardt #3 GM Goodwrench Gen 6 NASCAR Chevy SS stock car (#3 GM Goodwrench)

Liveries in the works: '69 Indy 500 pace car, #90 “Spirit of Daytona” Corvette Daytona Prototype, Subaru SVX PPG pace car, 2015 Camaro Z/28 “Big Red Camaro” edition

Great job on that Dale Sr. paint scheme. Always loved The Intimidator.
Any chance you could add a small #3 under the right headlight and right taillight like the actual NASCARs have in this game?

Just a silly question. Do NASCAR liveries have “Emergency” and “Electrical Shut-Off” switch locators on proper liveries?

Just curious?

Really nice looking Javalin btw. I had a Rambler Ambassador for some time. It was built like a tank. Solid, clean and even though it had seen some serious miles, it still ran and drove really well. The car was loved but met a sad ending…

The Javalin looks beautiful mate… Now all I have to do is fit it out nicely… Thanks mate.

As a Earnhardt fan myself, I appreciate the feedback! Normally I stick to the source material, but if you really want one with the smaller #3s, I can post a second version for a limited time

If you talking about the decals you see on GT and GT3 cars, then I have to say no, as I’ve never seen them on stock cars. And thanks for the compliment on my Javelin livery, and sorry about your Ambassador, but look at this way, one day you may come one like the one you used to have up for sale

I’ve always been a fan of Earnhardt Sr & I also make many retro/classic/old school NASCAR designs & I must say that your #3 Goodwrench design is outstanding & simply on point brother! My designs are about 90% TO 95% authentic replicas … your Goodwrench design looks to be 100% on point! Great work!

Thanks for the compliment, outkast! When the rumors for the NASCAR expansion were starting to come true, this one was the design I wanted to make if/when stock cars would return to Forza! And keep on making those designs

Oh I plan too… so many designs to make & so little time in the day! lol

I was going to make the #3 Goodwrench (black) but after I seen your design there was no need! It is spot on & I have it downloaded for use!

Hey y’all, i’m back with a new design I’ve shared a few days ago but never got around to posting it here: It’s the Titan Motorsports Supra drag car, while I know I have one up already but this one’s different than that one (which was put up for sharing the day of FM6’s release, therefore rushed and never got around to make any changes to it). I’ve changed up the overall color to match the copper color like it should have and fixed up the placement of a few vinyls along with adding a couple decals. Also, this was selected as one of the winning liveres in the Week 38 livery contest!
