I can’t wrap my head around it. Quitting because someone joins the lobby he or she can’t drive what have you. Is quitting the thing now?
It’s nothing new. It was even more prevalent in FM3 when people were trying to protect their trueskill score. They would back out of any lobby they were not winning just to save their score. It’s also very common in the shooters with those trying to protect their stats.

Quitting is really nothing new because as said some people just need to keep that score up. Now as for this , “he or she can’t drive what have you” do you mean DLC cars because if so then that is understandable. I do that in drag lobbies when everyone decides to pull out Ultima GTR’s because the only thing that can beat them/compete if you don’t have it is the Bugatti ss so it’s not really fair for anyone.
I had to jump out of a game once because there were raccoons rummaging around in my garage and they were scratching on the door. I thought the house was being broken into so I had to deal with that. One time my controller went dead in the middle of a race.
So… my point is, there may be more reasons for people to hop out than what you think. I’ve seen people hop out after trailing behind. That “looks” like they’re quitting. But who knows?
I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I guess I haven’t seen it happen enough to be upset about it. Or it’s not a LOT of people. I have had two races where we were all racing, maybe about 8 of us and all of a sudden I was the only one in the race. But they ALL left like instantly so I figured it was some kind of glitch. That’s happened twice. I got first place both times. hehehahahahahahahehehhee. I think that’s the only time I have. No, I think I got first one other string of races because there was only one other guy than me and I was faster. Put it on the calendar.
Also, I know being the spelling police is kind of silly, but since you’re complaining about other people, you spelled quitters wrong. :()

No, I didn’t see that commercial, but the whole thing reminded me of that movie “Furry Vengeance”. If you’ve never seen it, it’s kind of funny. And that’s what I felt like. LOL.
Sometimes people quit because they simply dont want to race on the track that came up…most times when there is a track someone dosnt like, they try to change it; when that happens, the room will vote on whether to keep the track or not. If you lose after the vote is taken, then you just leave the lobby.
Others seem to tend to leave after an incident on the track causes them to lose momentum and their place. If they got knocked off the track while in first place, and they are now in last place, they quit, because they cant get back up to the front to make up the places.

Those things really know how to rifle through garbage cans. I’ll tell you that much.
you should try unlimited drag, every other person seems to quit, or worse try to kick you because you’re faster, what happened to asking questions? i did and I’m faster because of it
