I sent this in Discord, but I’ll repeat it here.
Cars - Horizon is first and foremost a game about cars
Exploration - This is what sets Horizon apart from Motorsport
Disappointment - I said Flawed on Discord, but this is probably more accurate. The core game and physics, while not perfect is solid, but the other stuff on top of it, especially the online components, auction house/economy, game progression, time gated weekly challenges, exclusive cars, and most recently, the festival playlist are all deeply flawed and/or broken. The end result of this is great disappointment with FH4 and the future of the franchise.

I feel like I should clarify a bit more how I feel about FH4 specifically vs the Horizon franchise in general.
Horizon franchise:
Cars
Exploration
Beautiful (graphics, especially in terms of cars and scenery)
FH4: (as compared to previous Horizon games)
Disappointing (overall impression of the game as described above)
Disrespectful (of my time with the time gates and exclusive cars and forced multiplayer)
Rushed (game feels unfinished and unpolished in a lot of places and like enough playtesting wasn’t done, even the new route creator, which should be awesome, is just clunky and not particularly fun to use)

Sorry we can’t all be fanboys like you, on this forum you try and make excuses for the developers with almost any issue someone encounters in the game when nobody else is at fault except them.

I see some design troubles sometimes but still it’s for sure among the best games I have ever played. Negativity here surprised me too.

As far as I can tell, most of the issues are bugs, you can’t..not have them. I got people to post images of my sales in the auction, and they all had the wrong stock colours showing, and not my paintwork. I think rather you are saying that you are happy with games to be sold with bugs in them.

I didnt say i dont have any issues but i dont have most of the issues that quite a few people bring up
I dont use the auction house much..its stupidly setup…
I have noticed that on the sold screen my cars have gone back to stock colors..but i also dont car..ive got rid of the car..its gone
Im more saying that i also dont notice these bugs..therefore they are not affecting me
And some bugs can be easily removed by simple maintenance by the user
There’s also some people on here that just complain for the sake of complaining
And as usual this has gone off topic..something else some people do

I hardly play this game anymore, when I think about it, the three words that come to mind are:
Repetitive
‘Live service’
Chore
Never thought I would think so negatively about a forza game, but in all honesty, I really don’t care anymore. Every new iteration of this franchise drives me further away.

Unlistening (Didn´t find a better word).
Horizon 4 has the potential to be the best racing game of all time, but the developers simply don´t listen to the community, or at least they don´t show it. Tickets with suggestions & feedback are being marked as “solved” even though the issue hasn´t even been adressed yet, the developers think that certain parts of the game are perfect even though the community (to which they should listen) has a different opinion, like the sound of the Dodge Viper. This is just one example: I´ve not seen anyone saying the the car sounds great, there are incredibly many complaints about it, but in the previous Update Showcase Stream you´ve shown us that you think it´s perfect because you´ve recorded a Viper. The Viper you´ve recorded however was a really old model (can´t quite figure it out, but it´s around the 2000s) and that sounds nothing like a modern Viper, you cannot simply carry sounds over, but if you do so please try duplicating a sound that comes at least close to what the car sounds like in real life. That´s what the community has been explaining over and over again, but the developers have not listened. That leads to disappointment.
