Question about NISMO GT-R

Since i am not interested in the car pack (TS040 is not competitive at all in multiplayer and i don’t like the other cars) i want to ask you a question : is the r35 worth it for 2.99? It’s very good looking but i don’t know if it is competitive or not in online racing so…

Anyone?

In my opinion the Motech GTR is a good car but not great due to having a big turbo lag and I not a turbo cars fan. I just drive turbo cars only when there is no other option. But it is still a racing car…if I were you I would buy the full DLC instead of one car.

Hope I helped…See ya

I’ll need to check the boards but what I do know is that R/900 is a rather difficult class for new cars to be competitive in. The 1970s Grand Prix cars lock out the leaderboards on most tracks, with the Can-Ams and Ultima GTR taking up the spots on faster circuits.

I have seen a few Nissan GT-Rs in Hoppers though, but I haven’t driven it enough myself to know how strong it would be in a racing environment.

Consensus seems to be that it’s a touch quicker than the 007 Aston Martin, so unlikely to be right at the top of any R-class leaderboards but definitely a competitive lobby car.

Yeah…i care about racing not leaderboards…what about Toyota? I saw that Mazda is good but TS040 seems to be really slow.

Toyota is nowhere. It needs a buff to give it more power and/or grip. For some reason it has neither even though it’s sound to drive. And whilst we’re at it, some of the other Prototypes should get buffs to be P998, when they’re closer to 990, no wonder the Mazda is standout best.

Nissan GT-R is nice to drive, but it doesn’t seem to have been given much downforce compared to what they had on FM4. It’s been treated as a GT car rather than SuperGT. I haven’t seen it on any leaderboards but it’ll work in a lobby, Of course there’ll always be faster drivers with faster machinery, and that kind of thing.

Nissan GT-R is an enviable combination of agility and precision, making it god-like on narrow, spaghetti circuits. But on a lazy course with high-speed segments it can become a chicane for other cars. (Cockpit visibility is excellent btw.)

Toyota TS040 HYBRID just feels right. It may not be top-tier like Mazda 787b, but it is exceptionally well-planted and predictable. It’s easy to control, and control is the fulcrum of racing… right?

The Toyota was useless when I tried it in the P class Ghost League. Got passed by everyone using the Peugeot 905. The GT-R seems alright compared to the other modern GT cars.

The only complaint I have with the GTR is that suffer from the same launch problems on manual w/ clutch as the R18’s. This was both as stock and upgrade. My lack of tuning knowledge could be to blame as I rarely ever do anything but aero with much confidence.

three possible choices are :

NISMO GT-R obviously (RALPH LAUREN)
IMSA RX-7 (MOBIL 1)
IMSA FAIRLADY Z (LOGITECH G)

I like all them but i want know which is the most competitive in R-CLASS since i play multiplayer often.

I copy-pasted my other topic here…what do you think?

I did some analysis before, but if you’re looking for a competitive car pack in terms of Leaderboards/Multiplayer, this is the current order:

eBay Motors > Polo Red > Logitech G > Mobil 1
