After completing the First bucket list challenge, I logged out for the night. Instead of proceeding to the race against the airplane, I have been stuck in Purgatory. I have completed a number of on-line road trips, Bucket Lists, and so forth. I have even advanced to Level 5 and received 2 more Hurricanes.
I have tried Clearing the Cash, Reloading the game and nothing has helped in regard to moving forward with the game. I have asked Turn 10 for help, but after over a Month, I believe that they have stopped listening and helping us. Has any one else faced this issue and can tell me what the solution is?
Also, Does anyone have any interesting ideas of how to utilize 3 Hurricanes? They are not very good for off road. Are they any good as a drifter? Also, was I supposed to have gotten another car after reaching Level 5?
Have you tried asking Anna? “Anna continue road trip” or the command that just picks an event (“what do I do” or something like that)
I have a feeling you have a road trip to complete. It is sometimes not obvious from looking at the map, and you have moved locations since then (when you played online)
To continue you must do the showcase event against the airplane.
The Huracan’s are pretty nice and the paint jobs are pretty wicked. The paints alone are worth keeping the cars for me. That said, not all cars are great for off-road but luckily you can pick different cars for each event in solo - simply pick the Huracan for a locale that emphasizes its strong points.
I have 4 now, and am working on getting them into different set ups. I have one for primarily road work in S1. I’d like one in S2 that is good for road driving, another being setup for off road racing, and one just as is.
Yes, I need to do the race against the airplane, and will when I figure out how.
As to Anna, I have tried the suggestions. They were previously posted. When I ask Anna to continue road trip, I am directed back to the Car Meet, and I have done a couple of Online Road Trips, and On Line Free Roam from there. I have gone through Anna’s limited options and none of them got me back on track. This is why I am believing that this is a bug. I have also gone and redone the prior Bucket list item, but that did not get me to the Airplane Race. Any one have any more ideas on this?
How many championships have you completed yet? Do you see the first showcase event on your map? If you do, just drive there. Does Anna send you to a car meet or the Horizon hub at your location?
On the map for where I am at in the game, there are two Hubs that I can go to, and two car meets. Depending on where I leave the game, I return to the game at one or the other car meet. With Anna, I am always directed to the car meet near Casteleto. Once at the car meet, there is no further direction of what to do. I found through experimentation that I have two choices and I have tried both on line choices, only to be redirected back to the same place by Anna. As I said, I am in Purgatory. The game will not die and let me start over from the beginning, and it will not let me get to the Airplane race.
Ok, if you only have completed the first championship, you need to go to the Casteletto hub und select the next championship there. It is strange that you don’t see the showcase event, because it comes directly after the first championship and leads to the roadtrip to Nice.
Car meets are always the point where you start when you load the game. But, there you can’t do anything besides playing online. So, you should just leave there. Can you post a screenshot of the southeastern part of your map?
Next Available Event is not in Anna’s list of choices. I did try it and nothing happened.
There are no Orange Markers on the map. When I set the filter, other than the map, all that shows is the car’s position and the festival. The festival has two choices. Garage and Purchase Cars.
At the Casteletto hub, it shows the panel for Championships as both Unavailable and Locked. My understanding is that this gets unlocked after the airplane race.
What are you thinking about the southeastern part of the map?
I have been to the Nice Car meet, and entered On-Line races from there. It did not change anything.
I have tried deleting the game on my XBox and re-installing the game. After several hours I was able to restart the game and I was at the same Car Meet. Again, this was one of the fix ideas someone posted in another thread, but did not work for me.
