Rally Raggio? I’ll do it anyways XP
Haha! You sure you will
There are Rally DMC Time Machines now…
I just want to make sure that if the car appears in the game, i don’t want it with optional Forza Aero because it will look totally awful despite of slightly improve the manouverablity. The Yamasa Raggio SHOULDN’T HAVE any aero whatsoever
(I will make exceptions if in the car pack, the OG Raggio appears in game. It has this bodykit in Tier 6
Yamasa Ragio in a Nutshell:
If it exists on Forza, i’d better be have the following
-
Performance points: (A) 765
A reference to Namco’s goroawase -
450 HP and 800 nm of torque
-
Mid Engine + Rear Wheel Drivetrain
-
Six Speed transmission like the NSX
-
Top Speed around 270 km/h
-
Weight around 1165 kg
The Raggio can also have engine swapping
from the V6 to V12 engine (like the OG Raggio)
-
The custom NSX V6 engine should have a peak RPM of 7000 RPM (Max 9000 RPM), giving around 450 HP. It uses the NSX G1 sound file, slightly high pitched…
-
As for the V12, it has 765 HP and 900 nm of torque, Peak RPM at 9000 (Max 11000 RPM). This one should use the Raggio’s sound file from Ridge Racer 6.
Doing so, the car’s performace points increases to (S2) 910
But anyways…

Kira. I think it’s all set, with everything detailed and stuff… Just cross your fingers for this car to appear in the game
Even though this car is more shadowed by the Mercedes SLR or any other convenient car. I have the hopes for someday, within the remaining life cycle of this game, it will eventually come… If not, for Forza Horizon 6
I don’t know if i’m allowed to post a video regarding to it’s development… but this is how the Raggio was made
According to a japanese blog that was deleted, this Raggio was kept in a shop in Japan.
KS: This is fine, as long as videos are SFW and relate to the topic they are allowed.
Without any doubt… This Raggio was the angular stone that built my childhood and my enthusiasm towards cars.
It’s a shame the car is considered as an one of a kind in the world (like the GNADE G00), yet unknown in the racing world… This car almost has 20 years
It’s funny how the original Raggio only has 9000 RPM. This must be the original Rev limit on the custom engine the real Raggio has
Reviving the topic talking about it’s fun facts:
-
The Yamasa Raggio is a Special 2 car whose top speed is 245 MPH, and by using nitrous downhill at one section at Union Hill District, it’s capable of reaching almost 300 MPH.
-
The car has a standard-like drift type unlike the original Raggio. Which it makes it easier to drift!
-
This Raggio was made by Project Mu (as the topic title suggest), but it was made under permission from Namco and Yamasa. Built using a 1st Gen NSX (pre facelift) as a base, considering the closest lookalike. And as a consecuence, the car has a boxier profile unlike the videogame counterpart.
-
Built to respond thousands of Ridge Racer fans to bring an iconic vehicle to the real world, being the Raggio (Ray of light).
-
It’s the rarest one-make that, according to some japanese blogs (deleted due to the discontinuation of Yahoo! JP), the current whereabouts of this Raggio was kept in a japanese shop for exhibition. However, it is not sure if is currently in there. Maybe lost in time?
-
The reason why this car doesn’t have lots of votes is because of it’s lost relevance as Ridge Racer 2 was launched back in 2006, and this car got it’s days of fame back in the same year during it’s presence in the Tokyo Auto Show.
Let’s revive the machine all together!
We’re having 20 btw…
This is a great jump start since i first saw this topic
This is the follow up to the video i’ve sent 3 days ago.
All the stuff they did is to also make some good videos of the Raggio battleing a commercial plane
It was later on released on the Auto Show in Tokyo 2006 and then got it’s attention as a unlockable car in the game
This is the same car, in Pachislot: Ridge Racer
Wonderful! We need more though
Yeah… Originally they can use this tachometer since the NSX has the limiter around 8250 to 9700
Well… I’d love to see how well this car will perform in Forza Horizon 5. It will be one great car for A class… probably faster than the original NSX, despite of the NSX being a B class car, duh!
Here’s an image for the topic!! heck! you can even replicate it’s videogame performance on the NSX!
390 km/h is way too fast, it feels like a Sleeper
I’m a genious in the making! I want to try that out… Turning the NSX into the Yamasa Raggio (in terms of liveries)
I understand this car may be lost in time due to it’s short living popularity since Ridge Racers 2 release… Maybe the only Ridge Racer car in existence… You know? It’s like those driveable Hot Wheels diecasts cars replicated in a 1:1 size. Maybe they should try using Namco’s IP and make this a real thing
Yeah. Totally agree
