Alright, so I’ve been playing FM6 and I really love it. Problem is I can’t download good tunes. They all come up as locked, and every time I try to download one it says “Please try again later” And its really frustrating. Of course I want a grip tune for my AMG GT-S! But nope, can’t do it. I have to tune it myself. (BTW today I made an 850csi BMW for drifting. You should try it. Works very well. I kept the stock engine.)
Anyways, hoping anyone can help! Thanks!
You should be able to download and install the tunes. However, the tunes indeed are “locked” as far as settings go. In telemetry you can check out the TPs and Camber. Then, all you have is the appropriate build of the shared tune.
I have an S800 grip tune for the 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S if you’d like to check it out. Just search my GT (HLR PRKid) or visit the PRKid’s Garage in this tuner’s garage section. I tuned it for a Daytona comp.

I’m afraid that by “locked” the OP means slihtly different thing.
When you go to search tunes from sharefront, and don’t put any description for it, you will get 1-5 tunes that you can download, and after that the tunes come out as “blanks” which you cannot download.
Therefore if you are just browsing it’s hard to get too many tunes. but if you are looking a tune from someone that you know has it shared yuo don’t have any problems.
I’ve got a tune for the Mercedes GTS If you would like to try it also, maybe you’ll like it, Just search gamertag HLR PRkid or EMW Venom in the creator section

@ Bullracer1…Venom has some awesome tunes, so, certainly check this (and others) out!

p.s. We both have Garage threads in this section outlining the cars/classes shared.

“Please Try again Later.” This usually happens when you’ve browsed a bit too quickly. For example you pick a car and only use class as a search field it’s likely to have hundreds of tunes dating back to the release of the game. After you’ve browsed for so long i.e; by pressing and holding the left joystick to the right’ the info cannot be retrieved fast enough. Similarily if yo go back through the list by pressing left on the joystick some tunes will have disappeared or you get an endless loop of about a dozen tunes.
My solution to this is to use more detailed search criteria and to “Favourite” more tuners so that their stuff comes up under “Recommended.” - Some of the dudes in this thread have some great tunes shared for a start.
Other than that slow down when browsing, save speed for the track!
