Problems with an older wheel

Hi everyone.
I just got an old second hand thruststmaster 458 italia. It was originally made for xbox 360 but works fine for pc games like assetto corsa and euro truck. However, when I try it on FH4 theres a huge non responsive deadzone in the middle as if its not even plugged in. It’s sprung about 10 degrees from centre and only responds when this is felt. I have attached a to an unlisted youtube video showing the issue better.

Odd. One thing that might help to try is to check/adjust the in-game deadzone settings. Maybe even the out-of-game deadzone settings, if your wheel has software that lets you adjust them . You could also try lowering the Steering Linearity (also in settings). That’s supposed to give more steering accuracy near center.
