I know this may sound quite a stupid question to most of you but I needed to ask this. If I have cosmetic damage only on and my spoiler comes off in a race from say, clipping a barrier, will the effects of the spoiler be lost or because of cosmetic damage only, or will the effects still be felt as if there is an invisible spoiler in its place?
Most likely wont change. You can test with telemetry. See the load on your rear suspension at speed with the spoiler. Then somehow knock the spoiler off and see if the load changes at the same speed.
Doesn’t affect you at all in cosmetic.
