I preordered Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One. After buying it, files were downloaded. These were shown in the queue. After downloading, the queue showed that Forza Horizon 2 was installing. After completing the installation, all the items that were in the queue stayed in the queue with preordered on them. Is this normal? It seems a little odd they are in the queue.
I have pr-ordered 2 downloads so far. 1 went right over but said could not play till a certain date. The other did stay in the queue but moved on the day the game came out. My guess (only a blind guess -I dont really know) is that game had some kind of a update or patch and being as I could not start the game,the update could not work.
Just a shot in the dark but both games did work fine on release day.
Mine downloaded completely and the game along with the other DLC in the Ultimate Edition are also in my Queue.
You get access to the game at 12:01AM in your time zone on the 30th.
I suspect that upon first launch, it will move from the Queue to “My Games & Apps.”
Mine moved to “My games”.
If you turn your console off, the game should move itself over to the ‘Installed’ tap and if you click on it it’ll say the date you can play the game.
As long as everything says pre-purchased you should be fine.
The game still remains in the queue. I did turn my computer off this weekend and unplug it because of a different issue. The game didn’t move. I am slightly worried about this but the game still says preordered. If I click on it, there is a message in the upper left saying play the game on 9/30/2014. I’ll wait and see.
