Any reason for this?
I’m playing on PC and dropping down from 75~85 FPS right down to 30 for cut scenes kinda ruins it a bit?

Well, If the cut scenes are “pre-rendered” then of course it will lock to 30 as the pre-rendered video file is likely at 30fps.
Noticed in the demo. To be honest i understand why. Many people will only be able to run 30fps, majority probably on xbox & so the cut-scenes would have to be 30fps anyway. Then the time it takes to go back & render, check & input them all at 60fps is time that would’ve been spent developing other things when it’s not exactly something that effects the game, even if it’s a little odd at first.
I understand that if the video file is indeed pre rendered then obviously the frame rate isn’t variable
But it seems odd that it’s not rendered in real time, I think the previous titles have all been real time?
Been playing for a few hours now, this is definitely immersion breaking
Please fix it
Not sure how you intend for this to be ‘fixed’. Even if they recorded 60fps video cutscenes you guys on PC with framerates above that would still feel a drop.
Even if they recorded them at 120fps they would complain
They are pc gamers…complain about everything
