just looked at ms store with their get 10 dollar gift cards if you preorder deal and saw horizon 2 was 59.99 like for one and the release is in the fall.
Why does amazon/ gamestop say 49 and the date is september 30?
The release date for the Xbox One and 360 versions is, in fact, September 30th. As for pricing: $59.99 is for the Xbox One - the $49.99 price tag is for the Xbox 360 version which will be based off the Horizon 1 graphics engine (as opposed to Forza Motorsport 5’s graphics engine for the Xbox One copy). Any other assumptions regarding lack of content on the 360 copy would be merely that … speculation.

So you are confirming there is no lack of content in the 360 version? (Aside from obvious things like drivatars and things like that)
besides the forza 5 i cant imagine them cutting cars, events cuz it’s the base game and most newer 360 games are on 2 disks now anyways. graphics will be different, maybe weather won’t be in but even need for speed did it..
frankly if they gimp cars and events then the 360 version is pointless, that’s all i really care about anyways.. the 10 dollars less does bug me for that reason.
Just being obvious but it was clear that “fall 2014” and “September 30” coincide? Depending on your location on the Northern hemisphere, fall is from about halfway August to halfway November.

If it’s a download then yes.
If you order it with One day shipping, then yes. Otherwise, I wouldn’t count on it. Whenever you’re getting something in the mail it’s a toss up unless you have paid for shipping that guarantees it in your box on release day.
