My hardware:
i7-860
DDR3 1333 16GB
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
I ran it last night so I don’t remember all the numbers, but I do remember the “max 62fps” - which surprised me since my CPU is so old. Must be the 16G RAM helping?
I’m running at 1920 x 1080 and left the settings on “recommended”.
No surprise it stays dead locked at the 60fps cap. Horizon 3 hovers between 100 and 70 with high settings, so I’m guessing that’s where it will be if the cap is lifted. Game runs super smooth, except on the menus where there is a lot of stutter and micro-freezing.
Ryzen 5 1600x
GTX 1080
16gb DDR4 @ 2100hz (because getting this to run at the 3200hz it’s supposed to be has been an absolute pain for me)
Running all Ultra settings on a 34" widescreen monitor rather than 4K one though.
Min: 15.5
Max: 63.5
Avg: 58.6
The game runs perfectly and beautifully when actually driving. The startup screen, menus, and load screens all stutter horribly though. Demo seems to put all the load on the first core of my cpu. Though that seems to be the case for multi-core Intel chips as well. Heard this was an issue at the launch of FH3 and it was patched out. If that was the case hopefully it will be patched on Forza 7 as too.
ASUS x99 deluxe mobo
Intel 5930k
16gb ram
NVIDIA 1080 ti
3840x2160 @ 60hz
39" korean 4K display
Runs absolutely rock solid with vsync locked at 60fps with everything maxed out aside from AA. Other than a very small stutter in the beginning of the game loading at the menu, it doesn’t skip a beat. I’m very impressed and can’t wait to play on the 29th.
i5 4670k (stock)
Asus Rog VI
8 Gb Ram 2400mhz
AMD MSI 290
250Gb SSD
Native 1440P Ultra settings with MSAAX4 Game runs smooth at 60fps with a few drops to 57fps here and there except on the menus where there is a lot of stutter and micro-freezing,latest drivers 17.9.1,Hope the launch on day 29(I pre order Ultimate edt)will be good.
Despite nice average framerates, this is a inconsistent mess compared with the console version.
There is something wrong with the frametimes, as far as I can tell. Hope they fix it.
