Nah that’s not loading, that’s the game hanging which happens ALL the time.
I’ve played maybe ten events and these long delays have happened on almost every occasion. Either the countdown gets to one second and it gets stuck and sits there for minutes, or you get a few minutes of a black screen (sometimes no spinner, just complete black). Eventually it has always loaded though, but what a farce. The same sort of nonsense of stupid long delays plagued Forza Horizon 4 and 5 multiplayer as well. (This is on console.)
Also sometimes when you select multiplayer from the menu, it gets stuck on searching for events, it sits there for ages and gives you no option to quit, you just have to wait for it to fail before it lets you return to the menu.
Last night twice I practiced in a lobby for 10-20 minutes then crashed soon as practice was over
T10 this game is a hot mess this last week please fix it

Same, i even had pole position once 
, i wanted to rage uninstall but somehow controlled myself. may be 2nd patch will fix it.
It’s not just online. It happens everywhere in the game (buying cars, tuning, upgrading, saving tunes, replays etc etc etc(

Just tried joining 3 games in a row with the same problem. And you can forget about playing in group and getting everyone able to join. I’ll make it one time and not my buddies and then visa versa. Please fix this.
I really need help too, the game gets stuck after any race series is completed!! After quiting and rebooting the game, it shows i have the trohpy awarded for the series but i have to redo the entire series!!! Does anyone have this issue, please, any help would surely be appriciated!!!
Xbox series X doing the same thing here, gives me the award for the series after completion, but upon freezing after entering a new series, i get to keep all the rewards and skill level, but race data gets lost…
I’ve got the same issue, finished the first tour and won the Ford GT, got stuck after trying to start second tour so quit game and came back, still have the achievements and the car but lost progress, this is unacceptable.
I think this is a common issue (haven’t had it myself yet but have read lots of similar reports). I think we just need to wait for them to fix it. Who knows when that may be.
Yes… this is the stupidest thing ever. im about to refund the whole game. make me spend 100$ for what? for the game not to work. nice. never buying forza again. been a fan since horizon 2… but game just gets worse and worse as the years go on

I get this Problem as well on the Series S unacceptable for a full Price Game everyone Should critique this Game Everyone Deserves Better treatment from a AAA Studios

it’s the same on pc, extreme slow loading and in mid game it freezes and you hear something happen when it moves 1 frame per second and when it moves again your in the wall. It’s the worst ever release of the Forza motorsport series and Turn 10 and Microsoft studio games don’t give a (extremely bad words) about it now they got the money for the game and 99.99% of people is over refund time. They should hire some of playstations game builders maybe then we could allso get AI bots in private multiplayer and forced pitstop in career mode.
