hi!
first time forza racer, and must say, you’ve really earned a fan. been loving driving games, and now
fh2 has become one of my instant favorites with its mix of accessibility, customization and plain old fun . 
that said, for 2 days now, couldn’t get in the main game. it gets stuck in the ‘syncing data’ window
then after 20-30 mins freezes. even when going back to xbox home screen, the horizontal sync data window
just stays on top.
tried a soft reset, then a fully powered down, unplugged-for-an-hour reset to no avail.
checked out other online games and apps in the console, and they worked fine, so its not the home network connection.
restarted it yet again, and then the XB1 asks if i should use the older xbox live savefile (by 1 day) or the newer console save.
tried the use console save, but when it looked like it reverted back a new game, (imagine my horror) complete with opening
sequence i turned it off.
2nd day, tried something new. turned off the network connections for the XB1, and viola, the game started.
did a long sigh of relief to see my savegame still intact, mostly.
however, had cars in the garage that had ‘empty’ squares on their selection boxes. my paint schemes got deleted too.
repainted them again, and they appeared back on the squares.
guess that my online savefile just got corrupted, so i turned the network connection back on while in game;
the social / club tabs went on and played as usual.
quit the game hoping that did the trick… but when i restarted it; lo and behold,
stuck again on the syncing “we’ll be done soon” window.
now, understand that you guys already know and are working hard on the issue, and i really appreciate that.
my question is, can i or should i keep playing in offline mode where it works, and will i be able to safely
put that save back in the cloud when the issue gets resolved?
or would it be safer to wait until it gets fixed before trying to play again? that too much difference between
my local offline save and the cloud save will make the situation worse?
