Yeah because you’ve disengaged the drive so the engine is free reving. Same thing that would happen in your car if you pressed the clutch with the accelerator floored.

I have used and will always use the L/B for clutch I know in F4 I was top 200th in circuit… thanks for starting the thread I’ll give the A button a chance
What’s the worst that can happen?
The main reason to go to an A button clutch is because people find it easier to modulate a trigger with their pointer finger than their middle finger, plus with the A button there really isnt any thinking about changing gear its all on one button movement so to speak
I always use my pointer finger for clutch and braking … never my middle … unless
