Please consider adding a "Prestige mode"

I expect to play this game a lot more and I’m already close to lvl 500… I think I will hit the 999 level cap soon, so I just wanted to say it would be nice if we got some kind of prestige mode where you could reset your level and start over but you get a new icon or something. No I don’t need this to enjoy the game, I am a huge Horizon fan but extending the level up metagame would be cool for hardcore players such as myself, just for fun.

Already in technically. When you reach what would be level 1000. You get a platinum star instead of a level number, and continue to “level up” after that every 200,000 xp.

That’s pretty cool thanks. I guess it would be nice if there was also a visual indicator that you could show off to others that could differentiate between different Platinum levels. It’s nice they have that at least though, much better than just leaving it at 999.

I would much rather see a Horizon Hardcore mode. Basically :

  • no wheelspins
  • no loyalty bonusses
  • all DLC cars have to be payed for and are thus not free
  • no assists (except steering if you play on a controller)
  • only driver seat camera
  • you pick your drivatar difficulty setting at the start of the game and you won’t be able to change it anymore unless for the price of 10.000.000 credits.

Level 500 in nowhere near level 1000. I’m in the low 700’s and only about a third of the xp needed for 1000
