I’m not sure if this has already been answered or not but if it doesn’t require and internet connection to play the actual game on my PC then this could be my deciding factor in whether or not I get the Physical or Ultimate edition, so my question if you didn’t already know is does Play Anywhere require an internet connection? (I obviously know it will need a connection for things like multiplayer and co-op)

Yes, sorry to just play the campaign and free roam around the world

It has to sync your save somehow, so I’m sure it does require internet. Also they say you can’t play the game on both console and PC at the same time, so obviously some sort of online verification is involved there too.

Like the gentleman above me stated, it has to sync your saved game progress. While just playing on that machine alone, I’m not sure, I don’t see why not but we will see.

Xbox games let you play offline I don’t see why the PC version won’t let you. I guess we will wait for release to find out

Is PC version free only for those who purchase digital version from Xbox store, or is there some redeemable code with disc version? I prefer buying disc versions (I like actually owning games physically rather than digital version) and I would like to play horizon 3 on PC, but it really sucks if I’d have to buy PC version separately.

About the play anywhere can I play the game on Xbox one and at the same time can my brother play it on his laptop while the game is bought by one person?

Only playable at ONE time on Xbox OR on a PC

Only the digital version will be shared for both platforms
Physical is restricted to whatever platform you buy it for

Xbox Play Anywhere only applies to digital games. Xbox Play Anywhere games can be purchased in the Xbox Store, the Windows Store, or via a digital code at participating retailers.

How does Xbox Play Anywhere work?

When you buy an Xbox Play Anywhere digital game through the Xbox Store or the Windows Store, it’s yours to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost. To take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere, you will need to have installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update on your PC, as well as the latest update on your Xbox One console. Sure, as long as you’ve bought the digital version it’s playable on pc without an xbox, I’ve done the exact same
