When the player’s avatar in posed outside of the vehicle, provide a way to rotate the character so they face the direction that best suits the image being created.
This! I came up with a nice photo idea and the lack of this feature is what stopped me from actually being able to take it.

Avatars need a lot of mobility & posturing improvements.

This has now been revealed to be possible inside your garage.

Better than nothing, but hopefully it will be possible in the open world Photo Mode too.
