Someone messaged me on one of the achievement tracking sites I use with a link to a petition to re-enable the auction house for Forza 2 so that people who missed out can get the Car Broker achievement (like me).
For the record, I didn’t start this petition, and who knows how effective it will be, but it’s worth a shot, right? They’re halfway to their goal of 100 signatures, hopefully they can turn it back on. The multiplayer servers are still active for Forza 2, I can’t imagine it would be that difficult to re-enable that function… would it?
