people wrecking to win.

So I was in a lobby today racing my awesome CRX when along comes this Mercedes that decides he is going to use my car for breaks.
Later I saw him ram 2 other racers off the track…Not cool so I got in to my challenger next race and took him out…

. After I left that lobby Forza informed me I was no longer allowed to play…Be careful don’t get. Revenge…

. Oh how long will this last anyone know??

it should have been in the message. most common are one day, one week and two week according to what i’ve read on the xbox forums but sometimes it is permanent. if it were permanent tho i think your gametag would be blocked so you probably couldn’t post here. and its best to pm a mod, they dont like publicly discussing bans on the forums. a better place to ask is probably http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/xbox_one_support/f/4276.aspx they should be able to tell you how long there.

^^This.
On a lighter note, I’ll keep that in mind. I retaliated a couple times on FM4 because I was tired of the crashers. That was before the Crash Team Response though. I’ll be sure to keep my head down online.

Basic bans in all Forza games are 7 days, 30 days and gone. As for moderators “not liking” to discuss bans on the forums, that is Turn 10 policy - no discussion of an individual’s ban or the enforcement of the Code of Conduct. The proper place - not on xbox.com’s forums - for an individual to inquire is forzafb@microsoft.com.

Please don’t make inaccurate statements based on policies from a different site.

I am increasingly of the opinion that bash brothers racing is the result of players starting out in career mode, learning that the only way to win is to smash through the demolition derby. Why on earth every race needs to start you in fourteenth on a two lapper has never been explained. Those of us racing online are now reaping the rewards…

i have mentioned this before. And on Bathurst you start like 8th? Lol.

It’s never a good thing to retaliate. The next time someone is ramming, just save the replay of the race, upload it and let a mod know and they’ll get it to the proper people. Until then, all you can do is block and report from your console.

So that works, sending a replay to a moderator? I don’t use the online racing feature of the game anymore because of the mayhem but would do so if there was some sort of recourse. The block and leave option may work, but the next race just has another group pulling the same shenanigans. If I knew it would help by uploading videos, I’d be more likely to participate. I don’t want to get folks banned, but it would be great if a gamer doing this type of stuff got an official warning with maybe a week to think about the error of their ways.
