If you look at broadway village circuit, in road racing it’s restricted to the Alfa romeo 4c at A770. If you look at the top of the leaderboards people have set times using different cars in the S1, S2, and X category. I’ve seen it on several other leaderboards, so people have either accidentally or deliberately found out how to break the leaderboards.
Maybe they did, I guess you should just report them in game.
I was on the wrong side of this SERVER problem in rabked team adventure.
I joined an S2 road racing series in an A class Talbot offroader.
Like all problems in this game it’s all the bargain basement servers. Finding ranked team adventure sessions is like finding a sasquatch and so is a server with 30+ people. 72 my hoop is all I have to say.
How do you know players are doing something to get their times on the leaderboard vs. an error/bug on PG servers recording street race times in the rivals leaderboards?
I never said they definitely were. I said either accidentally or deliberately, because it could very well just be a glitch, but could also be people doing something iffy to break the leaderboards
IDK if people are glitching or if it’s something else. After all, when I look at my stats, it saysy longest jump is 56,676.6 feet.
The map isn’t even that wide, that’s over a 10 mile jump. Yet my longest time in air is 5.17 seconds…
They also found a way to break the Jump Boards. How do you make a jump of 6000ft. thats a mile no car is possible. I cleared the seasonal of 975 with a 998.3, not even close to being on the boards. If its a cheat user side a weight capture of the care b4 jump, during sometime and at landing would register it. If its beyond normal ie the distance with the acceleration vector and Gravity vector figured in. You could have a board which registered cheaters or just flatly keep them from registering to the board if any of the cars starts are altered from expected setup.
That’s why I don’t think it’s players cheating but a glitch/bug with the servers.
My longest jump is over 13,000 feet. No idea how that happened. I play on a console and would have no idea how to cheat. (Or interest in doing so.)
Above, CRacer posted he has a jump of 56,000 feet, which is over 10 miles.
It’s early and the game has a lot of issues. I’m sure they’ll get these things addressed eventually.
The same thing happened on FH3, yet another problem that still exists. I don’t know how it works exactly, but it’s either adding times from another race, or it’s putting them into the event in whatever car they’re driving at the time (often much higher rated than the rival car). If it is indeed an exploit then it needs to be fixed, ASAP.
My money is on garbage servers… you guessed it… just like FH3. They couldn’t fix it there and I doubt they’ll fix it here, you can only report the disqualified times and hope they remove them.
I’ll add that while my stats show longest jump at 56k feet+, my longest distance in a danger sign is 1500ft+, which was at the windmill and is legit, and I believe it to be my actual longest jump. Although up by the windmills I could have cleared a bit more, but obviously not 56k feet, and in only 5.17 seconds.
I have a feeling perhapsy longest jump tally was the result of a server issue and perhaps I had been the last one that topped off a forzathon danger sign and it assigned me that total distance. But that’s just a guess, I’ve never looked at danger sign leaderboards
Yesterday I logged into Horizon and it said my longest jump was 20,000 feet, not sure how that’s possible but I’m more convinced the game is glitching than people are cheating
Edit: Removed since it’s unknown if the glitch was fixed or not in FH3 and if it’s present in FH4.
If the rivals ghost is driving like they are avoiding A.I. cars it’s a bug. If they aren’t avoiding A.I. cars it’s cheaters using a glitch.
You may want to delete that post. Whether it’s still the same glitch or a different one, the mods generally don’t like people posting how to do them, on these forums
Same problem with the Goliath Rivals event with the Ferrari, illegal cars at the top of the leaderboard.
There are actual hackers on the boards, not sure if the devs are even going to do anything about it. Check the ghosts of any suspicious times. I’ve seen people in Delta S4’s going 0-150 in about a second. Report anybody doing this stuff.
