(PC) Switch E-brake/clutch on wheel not working?

So I’m playing Forza Horizon 3 on PC with the Logitech G27 wheel set. My problem is that when I enable “switch E-Brake/Clutch” in the advanced settings, it doesn’t change anything. I am not sure what it’s supposed to do, but what I thought was that it swaps the clutch and handbrake (thought it would be good for drifting), but there is no difference when I enable it.

So my question is: what does it do? Does it do something completely different than what I thought it does? Or is it just messed up?

I’m pretty sure that’s just for the gamepad.
