Attention racers,
Event 9 is over after three weeks, with 11 players participating, in 37 different cars. Welcome to our new players, and thanks to all participants and tuners.
With further ado, here’s the abridged player leaderboard:
As well as the top 10 of car leaderboard:
We can see a clear domination of George Lazenby’s James Bond car, the Aston Martin DBS, and we can also see the top 5 players within six tenths, and this never happened to the other fella.
Full results and more on the event sheet.
PHLS#10 officially starts now, and we’re not only back to the weekly schedule, but we’re starting with a new format that will oppose two teams.
In one corner, at 864 kilos, a series of tubes dressed with a fiberglass, four wheels and 100 horsepower. Designed for drivers aged 14 to 17, it’s the Ginetta G40 Junior!
And in the other corner, a 66-year-old icon that did it all. Rallying, touring, endurance, rallycross, it had its own one-make series, and it’s still racing to this day, it’s the Mini!
In this versus format, you can play for either teams as you prefer, or hedge your bets and play for both. Just post your times as normal, the bot will do the rest.
The top post will update in a few moments with all the details, as well as a poll for events 11 and 12.
On the news front, the event sheet now contains a new tab with all the eligible car details, that should be sortable and filterable. You don’t know how to activate sorts and filtered? Check out the “How do I sort and filter cars on the Car Details tab?” question in the top post.
You might also see a few changes for clarity up there, and, as suggested, a section with links to the event result posts has been added.
I also added a gallery to decorate. This can be a way to promote this challenge in other places, such as this thread, or even one of the official FM Photo Competition. If you have a cool shot that illustrates the event, you can post it wherever, and if you tag me and I see it, it might even go in the gallery.
Now, it’s time to d-d-d-d-duel!
