PHLS#29
Quattro#0:56.456 - I think if I used aero I could smash my time in the Volvo, but I just can’t do it to that car
Ford#0:56.941 - I tried the AWD swap, but it wasn’t better
Attention racers,
Event 29 is over, and here are the abridged results, with full results and more on the event sheet.
PHLS#30 officially starts now.
RTR Vehicles, standing for Ready to Rock!, is a tuning company specialised in beefing up Ford Mustangs and founded by Formula Drift driver Vaughn Gittin Jr. For the 2025 season, Gittin’s team is fielding 3 S650-based Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD, with a unique, right-hand-drive version for Irish driver James Deane. These are the three cars present in-game (albeit under their 2023 liveries and presumably setup). The #88 Pennzoil Mustang driven by Chelsea Denofa won the championship in 2023, while the #130 Autozone car driven by James Deane won in 2024.
And in a cruel twist of fate, your job this week is to drive these straight on the Road America Full Circuit.
Full details, past results, and voting for events 31 and 32 up in the top post, and that’s it.
Psych! In addition to the regular challenge, this week includes a sidequest which, should you choose to accept it, will require you to go sideways, as intended.
This will be a little special for two reasons.
Firstly, because there is no proper drift rivals mode, so you’ll have to go into Free Play for it (see below).
Secondly, because I felt Road America was too long, and the East Route was too boring, this sidequest will be run on the Eaglerock Club layout.
To set this up you need to start a new advanced setup Free Play game, then change the game type to Drift, put in Eaglerock Club, and in the rules set scoring to Best lap.
Then to submit a score post something like this
PHLS#30
RTR130#37195
Points will be awarded for this sidequest (2 points for participating plus 2 points per player beaten).
This week sounds insane.
Two things I don’t (can’t) do in life. The first one is dance and the second is drift so should be…erm… interesting.

With a random tune I just downloaded. It’s decent, it certainly grips better than my first try. This is a challenge for the tuners for sure.

Just a couple of tips: turn on the driving line (as you need to follow it to score more points) and turn off vibration. Seriously, I feel like my index finger has a spring instead of a bone right now.
Good test for a tune is just under the bridge on the home straight. If the back end doesn’t try to take off you’re onto a winner.
Also having to brake way early for the Canada turn or whatever it’s called.

If anyone trying to drift on controller I suggest normal steering. And set your self steer to zero.
What is self steer?
I assume BK’s referring to the adjustable “steering self alignment” setting under the “advance controller” tab.
You’re missing the PHLS#30 key word in there
