Bug Info: Online - Open Class racing
Using a Ford, to unlock “Only Fordward”

Platform: Series X
Edition: Premium
Account: Solo account
Settings: (graphics, Assists, Accessibility, etc)
Content Update: Was this happening prior to the most recent content update or did it start after the update?
Previously unlocked on original series release.

Can confirm. I didn’t even know I hadn’t acheived it until I saw this and went back and looked. Completed entire 3 race open in a Ford Bronco.

Edit:

Restarted. Replayed. Reassessed life choices.

Worked.

For me it didn’t. Do I get the reward when I finish 3 races, not one or two?

I neither tried with different models about 5 times. But still not able to unlock :sweat_smile:

Did you race a custom open race that was required?
I did that with A800 Ford Falcon 2015 and that worked for me

Hello,

Mine didn’t work either. The following are the facts in order of time:

  • I opened the Festival Playlist and clicked on “Horizon Open - Only Fordward”.

  • I raced the first three races that were assigned in my “A-800 2017 Ford Focus RS”.

  • I completed and placed in each of the three races.

  • I did not DNF any of them.

  • I received my Accolades for “The Grand Opening”.

  • I received my XP Rewards for “Horizon Open Complete”.

  • I received my free Wheelspin.

  • I chose not to continue on into the next series of three races.

  • I was then released back into the streets.

  • I went back into the Festival Playlist to confirm if the “Horizon Open - Only Fordward” was checked off as Complete or not.

  • It was NOT checked off as Complete.

I’m sure that I received all the above kudos because I recorded it on my Xbox and just went back and watched the video to verify it all.

At this point, I’m leary to go back in to run the races again if there’s a chance that the same bug will happen. I really would like to receive the “Hoonigan Escort” reward though!.. sooo what to do?! :thinking:

Don’t click on the Playlist tile to start the challenge, it will load a normal Open Race, not a Custom Open Race. Do these steps:

Solved - see above

Don’t click the tile in the Playlist

Go through the sequences shown above to ensure you’re in ‘custom racing’

A bit odd, clicking the tile has always worked otherwise!
