Online racing question from a new player.

So I am new to the series so I may have just overlooked something, but almost every time I jump into an online race someone else initiated, I am usually not in a competitive vehicle, because I cannot see what type of race it is before I jump in. Sometimes I see it is open to all classes, but where does it show me the type of race and location? I would like to know if it is drag or circuit or whatever so I can be as best equipped as possible, if not I will have to start ignoring all races except ones I start and that is no fun. Thanks for the input, and otherwise I am loving this game.

its the same for all of us, the easiest way to deal with it, is if you have a friend in the room, then you can push pause, and then rejoin the party with your friend off the home tab, and then you get the 23 sec’s or something to pick a new car before the road trip finishes…not 100% sure if it works the same in online free roam, but it does in the regular online races, but if your not racing with friends then you just gotta suck it up, or change to a new session

online roadtrip will usually let you choose. to make sure of this, be in a D, C or X class car so it MUST let you choose…

and create specific cars for specific classes :slight_smile:

I reccomend the F355 as an affordable car once upgraded to 800

Personally, I’m extremely pleased with the game and there is very little I would complain about. The point you brought up is however the biggest complaint I would make. I’m hoping they correct this in the next release. I suck it up and deal with it and not let it ruin my experience with the current title.

I do have a tip for you. While it’s not ideal, it’s an option. Start paying attention to the scenery that comes up when the menu to select your car opens. Yes, you have to look around the edges of the menu, and there isn’t much to see. But, the more you pay attention you’ll start to see what the selected race is.

Thanks for the replies, I was hoping I was just missing it, but since it doesn’t show I will deal with it. Thanks for the tips as well hipwader62x and Individuationis. Time to make a wishlist post.
