Okay, I love the game. Just kind of confused on how to get races of 12 people online? Are there any sorts of lobby or what? Or just free roam and set up a race and hope people join? Also, I saw someone post and say something about online championships…are those real? That would be incredible. I love the game so far, no problems at all. Just wishing the online and such was easier to navigate and understand. Please let me know any details, thank you.
There are no lobbies, just open world so players can join your online session and then someone can start an event that others join. I believe the championship refers to what takes place during each event. From the limited time I have played online it looks like you select an event to start with which consists of 4 races/games. Your points are added together over these events to give the winner of that championship. You then vote on the next event which gives details of what the 4 races/games will be and you head on a road trip to that location and start the racing (again 4 races/games), then repeat.
Others that have played it more please correct me if I’m wrong.
Although this method can be entertaining, I much prefer the old lobby system. I normally play racing games with several friends and this system is way too limited to race the sort of tracks you want. Looks like I’ll keep the game for now as a single player game but back to other racing games for proper multiplayer.
ive got the same problem, but i cant even join online free roam, i can join online road trips fine :S
