I’ve never been a fan of the online adventure mode, but since the Festival Playlist demands I participate to earn certain cars, I’ll put up with it.
Or so I thought.
Since I hadn’t done the adventures, I don’t have a ranking, so I can’t complete the Adventure Challenge in the playlist. And I can’t get a ranking, because the last five times I’ve tried an unranked adventure (or I can get to level 3) and participate, the CONNECTION DROPS BEFORE THE FIFTH EVENT.
EVERY.
SINGLE.
TIME.
That means that I’m not earning ANY influence for the previous four events, and I start from scratch. So where this new playlist system may have coaxed me into playing online, this consistent connection issue means that I’m now even less likely to play these online adventures.
I’m very, very disappointed in the execution here, and I wish that the Turn 10/Playground/X-Box/Whoever would bother to acknowledge the issue, rather than have players like me just keep beating their heads against a wall.
TL;DR - It’s not ok to lay out game challenges to get to 100% completion if you haven’t made sure your technology actually allows for 100% completion.
