Nurburgring+GP ssues forza motorsport 5

Has anyone ever got an issue sometimes at the start of the race or a few turns after if you go over a 100 mph it will not be a clean lap and if there is a reason can someone explain it to me thank you

It’s not because you a going over 100 MPH. You have either drafted behind a vehicle, been drafted behind, or committed a foul in the final sector the previous lap. I recommend attempting to post clean laps using Rivals mode.

The drafting penalty only hits once you are doing over 100MPh so likely to be the issue.

What does the topic have to do with your question?

A long time ago I had a similar question as you. I found the answer by searching the forum. You may have searched and didn’t use the right key words. I just want to remind everyone that searching can get you the answer quicker.

I think that his question is supposed to be “Nurburgring+GP Forza Motorsport 5” rather than “”. Just a spelling error most likely.

The search feature doesn’t work for me, I know. It brings up completely off topic options for some reason. I don’t know if it’s the browser I use or what? (Google Chrome). But if I put in the word “Nurburgring” it brings up completely off topic threads without the word “Nurburgring” ever being used in the thread at all. Also, when it does work, it only brings up like 4 options per page and this website takes forever to load a page on here so I usually get fed up with it and either make a thread or use the CNTRL+F function to find what I am looking for in the title of the threads.

I found the same problem Hot lapping, I figured it was just me, and ran another painfully long Delta class lap.

I saw this over the weekend. I was on the back straight before the short chicane leading onto the Nordschleisse, at least 1/4 mile ahead of the following cars. I was in the middle of the track doing about 120 when the lap suddenly went dirty. I had to restart 4 or 5 times before I was able to get off the GP track with out going dirty. Each time I did go dirty I was in the clear and in the middle of the track.

If you want to guarantee a clean lap do it in rivals mode where no cars can draft you.

Explain how a car can draft you when you are two turns ahead of it.

I can’t but expect there is an explanation for your dirty laps but no matter what was happening my advice is still the same. If you care enough for clean laps that you will restart 4 or 5 times then I suggest going to rivals mode to get your clean laps.

EDIT: you were between turn 13 and 14 yeah?

Yes, between 13 and 14 in the middle of the track, nearest car had not yet rounded turn 11. No collisions or leaving the track had occurred.

When racing concentrate on racing not clean laps it is just to hard to do. Use rivals to get your clean lap times. I have gotten a good draft especially on Road Atlanta on the back straight when I thought I was no where near the car ahead of me and I had no one behind me. So most of the time in a race you are either drafting off of the care in front of you or the the car behind you is drafting you and you get the dirty lap. Also it is usually a miracle if you can get past some the drivatars especially when they try and go three or four wide in a turn in front of you.

It happened again yesterday. I ran a rivals lap with an A class car and almost completed a clean lap. On the final straight to the finish, no more than 2 or three seconds from the finish line, the lap turned dirty. I was alone on the track (obviously) and in the middle of the track with no control problems.

I believe there is definitely a bug in the programming.

Hmm I think you should game DVR it, or “Xbox Record That” and upload it to be seen if there is anything off

I used the replay to observe the run on the final straight multiple times. There was zero reason for the lap to have turned dirty.

Can you upload that said replay so that people can have a look … if its Game DVR it shows everything, including the supposed dirty lap icon

I didn’t bother to record and save the run. I just reviewed it ran the lap again. This is getting to be very irritating.

are you using rewind?

No.
