Hi,
after DLC installation I found a new race in every carrer event. But the race to do isn’t Nurburgring but one else (random mode) and this one had just the gold sign.
Has anyone else the same problem?
I have that problem also. I had finished all the events in a bunch of the leagues. Downloaded the Ring pack, and found that it gave me another race to do in those leagues. I expected it to be the Ring, but it put that Ring as a completed race, even though I had not raced there.
Yup, and upon reading some other posts, it seems this happened with the other tracks added in the past. This seems like it should be an easy thing for T10 to not have happen, but its kind of annoying as when a new track is added it would be nice to have to race that track in career and not one you’ve already raced previously.
When someone has completed all races with medals and you add a new track, the new track (for instance the Nürburgring one) gets added into the races, but gets added with a already done mark. How could I race a track that I didn’t have until now? So you added a bunch more medals to get, but for tracks I already have had and made Nürburgring complete with every class or type.
It’s been an issue with this title’s round of DLC. I wouldn’t anticipate an update to fix this. Instead, create your own “career” event in Free Play - you’ll be rewarded with credits and XP.
yes I too thought this was an odd situation.
even in some of the career modes they added the ring already completed and at the same time added a new track at the end in-complete. arghhh
oh well i’m just thankful that they continue to add new great content to this already great game!
Slightly off topic … How do you download the Nurburgring track? I looked in add-ons, but only found the DLC for the Nurburgring cars ($4.99us). The news section says “free download to all Forza Motorsport 5 players”.
Long Beach was the same way, it showed the races as already completed if you had done the series already. The Achievement still tracks the races you get gold on in career mode so it works fine. You can run the same series race 20 times if you want, you don’t have to get gold in 20 different series, just 20 golds in career by any means.
Yep, same problem here. Can’t believe Turn10 hasn’t found a solution to this, since people had the issue going back to Road America. Sounds like an easy fix. My guess is they are keeping track of race indexes (1-14) in a Career League rather than the track name itself. Whatever the reason, it’s really dumb.
Updates and patches are automatically aplied when you install/download the game for the first time. Updates released after your install will be forced when you start up the game.
